When leaders deliberately fail to provide education for its people and instead regard education as a privilege reserved for the ruling class by sending their children abroad trained by stolen public funds, the result is the breeding of Boko Haram, Cultist and the militants that are now coming to hunt the State. We are a failed state and nothing can halt the decline until we elect rulers that are passionately committed to the cause of change driven for a decade or two to register in our collective thinking.
God has His own way of dealing with those who think they are all in all. When Sharia was introduced in the north in 1999 by Yerima the former governor of Zamfara, all Muslims were saying it was a right decision taken at the right time. The Northern states governors were running to Saudi Arabia, seeking financial assistance from the government in order to stamp a strong footing for Sharia in Nigeria. Now the same extremism introduced into Islam has turned against the very people that supported its introduction.
The only annoying part of this is that innocent people are being killed every time they carry out their violent assault all in the name of Allah. The Northern governors deprive their citizens access to quality Western education yet grant them unhindered access to Islamic education, giving the opportunity to these extremists to recruit innocent teenagers into their sect.
Anyway, they should just keep their madness up North because any attempt to bring it down South will lead to the forceful dissolution of the 1914 forceful marriage of the North and South by the then British colonial masters.
GOD help black people. how can someone take such pleasure in killing someone else like that. killing your own (brother) I’m right now ashamed to call myself an African :( :( I pity mother Africa because i can hear her cry :(
It is a sad reality that our country has to endure such circumstances. We do not need someone else to help us, our African continent should help itself. We are all brothers and sister. All of us are Gods children. Life should be respected especially innocent life.
