The Prayer meeting by Apostle Karanja of the Christ Harvesters Ministries that was scheduled for Sunday May 24th, has been postponed until further notice.
Speaking to KSB, Mr. Githuku wa Muirani, a leading personality who has been behind the planning of the visit, said that the postponement has been occasioned by Apostle Karanja’s difficulties in obtaining a visa to travel to Sweden.
Mr. Muirani said that a new date for the Prayers will be announced as soon as Apostle Karanja is ready to travel. The Apostle was scheduled to commune with Kenyans and friends at the former Bagarmossen Fellowship center.
Mr. Muirani regretted any inconveniences that may have been caused as a result of the abrupt postponement.

Oh thats dissapointing to me and many out there cause i had taken off from my job. Why did you not first confirm bout the visa before going public. my advice to you guys is confirm everything before you go to press. You know very well how people are bussy in this place. This guy is well known and i fail to understand why they would deny him a visa
I have my doubts about this visa thing. I am thinking but I may be wrong, that this is another scandal in Stockholm. People contributed money so that the apstle could come here and talk to us. How do you announce that somebody is coming to this place to pray when he has no visa?
Anotha swali is how can a person who is already living in the united states fail to get a visa to sweden, more so if he is an apostle? How much was raised by the people who want to bring him here and where is the money, now that he is not coming? Kenyans in stockholm are spolt because they don’t care about the word of god. They raise money and eat it then cancel event. We are finished kabisa. The kikuyu say that Gutiri ucokaga haria arumiirwo kaara. Have we been bitten again?
KSB: You raise some very interesting questions. May be, the organizers should come up with a comprehensive statement to clear the air especially about the fund raising. I heard about it although I thought it was private.
