A Kenyan Travel Agent has allegedly conned a West African couple 11,000 kr by issuing a ticket which was rejected at check in at the Airport prompting the man to cancel his travel plans. The man comes from Nigeria while the woman hails from Senegal. The couple, sounding angry and upset, called KSB to report that all their plans had collapsed with huge economic losses because of deals that were supposed to be sealed back in Africa. The couple said that they were unable to reach the agent on phone while he had allegedly moved from his office. KSB is following the story.

There is only ONE known Kenyan travel agent with a thieving tendency in Kenya-Stockholm. He is lucky we don’t live in the brutal days of King Hammurabi, otherwise he would have had his hands chopped off from the wrists by now.
Luckily too, he is not living among the Taliban because he would have long been flogged and lynched in an open marketplace. In Kenya, the mobs would have unleashed raw street justice on him. If he ever does time (get jailed) in Sweden, it will be soft with TV, better food than what is given to school children, including conjugal visits; how absurd.
It is too bad that some travelers never run a background check on small-time agents and only rush to complain after being conned. There is no brotherhood when it comes to money. This thief keeps stealing because people blindly buy tickets from him. He is enriching himself at the expense of other hardworking Africans.
The man is a reflection of our thieving MPs at home led by their chief thief Kibaki.
