The case of a Kenyan facing charges of rape and assault (among other charges) of a Swedish woman which started on Thursday last week is being heard in camera. After the Thursday hearing, the case was heard yesterday, Monday 17th while it also came up today. It is understood that the Kenyan’s lawyer had requested for a “closed door hearing” especially when the elements of rape came up.
A source informed KSB that today, Tuesday, an official from the Kenyan Embassy went to court for the hearing but was denied entry into the court room.
On Thursday last week when the case began, “Insider”, an investigative Program on Swedish national TV 3, featured the Kenyan’s case for about 30 minutes. During the Program, the Swedish woman who accused the Kenyan was interviewed on several issues.
She had a harrowing story about her tribulations at the hands of the Kenyan. KSB has traced her and made an interview with her regarding several critical issues which Kenyans in Stockholm have been raising regarding the case. The interview will soon be published at the blog site.
