A Kenyan woman has been admitted to a Swedish rehabilitation center after a diagnosis check returned serious “addiction to gambling”. According to a source, the woman has been gambling for some time and is said to have gambled away cash totaling to about Ksh 150.000.
A Source told KSB that just before her admission, the woman was permanently broke while she looked frustrated and resigned, prompting the Swedish authorities to admit her at a rehab center. The source added that the woman accepted treatment voluntarily. It could not be immediately established if the woman’s monthly bills were affected by her addiction. KSB wishes her quick recovery.
Another Kenyan was recently admitted at Huddinge hospital suffering from “Internet addiction”. The Kenyan had been surfing for long hours per day thereby forgetting basic daily routines.
