A single Kenyan mother of two who had sounded the alarm to the effect that she was about to become homeless has received help together with her children and she is currently sitting pretty. After she moved to a new room, at least two Kenyan women also offered to help her temporarily in case of any new emergency.
The Kenyan was threatened with ejection by her Landlady who gave her short notice to vacate the house. With nowhere to go in the face of approaching winter, she sounded the alarm through KSB.
Good Samaritans mainly from Kenya have been lining up to help her sort out her housing problem. Speaking to KSB, the woman said that she is now fine and doing well with her kids. She thanked everybody who was touched by her situation especially those who offered to help.
The Kenyan community in Stockholm went into a state of serious anxiety when news hit KSB that a Kenyan mother of two was slowly receding into “Mode Nyambu”, a reference to Nyambu’s psychological disorientation which led her to murder her two innocent children by drowning them in a lake at Sigtuna municipality.
According to the KSB story, “The woman said that although she is a very private person, she had decided not to keep quiet and succumb to depression like Nyambu, a Kenyan woman who murdered her two children in September last year out of frustrations”.
The woman sounded happy at her new residence and KSB could only wish her well.
