Mrs. Herin Ogindo, the sister of Mr. Ochieng Nyamnbok, a Kenya-Stockholmer, has passed away in Kenya after a long illness. Herin was the wife of Mr. George Ogindo, a former Kenya-Stockholmer who relocated to Kenya about a decade ago. The whole family has been plunged into deep mourning. Mr. Nyambok is also related to the late John Peter Omiti (husband to Mrs. Pamela Omiti) who passed away in Kenya a few years ago.
An “Open House” has been set up daily at the residence of Mrs. Pamela Omiti at Flygkörvägen 13 in Täby. A Prayer meeting will be held at the residence on Saturday, 23rd June 2012 from 14.00hrs. Friends, relatives, sympathizers and well-wishers are invited to the open House and Prayer meeting to condole with the bereaved family which is currently in deep shock and sorrow. Herin passed away yesterday in Kenya.
To get to the residence, take bus number 629 from Mörby or Dandryd then alight at Flygkörsvägen station. Walk to the residence or call the numbers listed below for further direction.
The bereavement comes hot on the heels of another bereavement that struck the family in which Mrs. Pamela Omiti lost ten relatives in a horrible road accident in Kenya.
Mr. George Ogindo, the husband of the late Harin, was a well known Kenyan journalist who arrived in Sweden in mid 70s before relocating to Kenya ten years ago. In Stockholm, Mr. Ogindo was known for his sharp intellect and informed analysis of socio-politco-historical subjects and his contributions enriched many debates in Kenya-Stockholm.
KSB sends deep condolences to the family of the late Herin who will greatly be missed by everybody who knew her. We hope that the family will find the strength to go through this very difficult moment following the passing of a loved member of the family.
Death has robed the family of a loving mother, wife and good friend who will, for ever, be remembered for her good deeds during her life on this planet. May the Almighty rest the soul of the departed in eternal peace. For further information, call: 0700299650 or 0720376723.
