RAILA’s sister RUTH ODINGA named RUNNING MATE in Kisumu gubernatorial SEAT
Thursday January 24,2013 – It seems democracy in the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is a vocabulary of the past, after Prime Minister Raila Odinga‘s sister Ruth Odinga was named as Kisumu gubernatorial’s running mate.
ODM National Elections board on Thursday afternoon pressurised Jack Ranguma who won the Kisumu gubernatorial ODM nominations with a landslide, to appoint the Premier’s sister as his running mate or face the wrath of the Orange Party.
Ruth was among the first casualties to be floored in the Kisumu gubernatorial contest in the just concluded ODM primaries, where Ranguma emerged the winner
The ODM political cartel tried to rig her in but the masses effectively resisted this through street protests and Ranguma was eventually declared the winner
Now the same cartel has successfully forced Ruth Odinga on the voters through the back door, as a running-mate on the same ticket with Jack Ranguma.
