“Booking Rush” for Miss Africa Crown at Africa Night Cruise
Top Ten cuties of the contest in 2011
According to latest information obtained by KSB, there has been an unprecedented rush for bookings for the Miss Africa Crown Finals that will be held at Vikingline on Friday October 7th. Yesterday aone, a record 72 bookings were registered while the trend is expected to continue during the week end. This is very understandable because yesterday was pay day for many workers in Sweden.
Another rush is expected next week when a fresh round of workers will get their pay. The main Miss Africa Crown arena can only absorb a maximum of 400 guests. According to Ritz Society which is organizing the Miss Africa Crown competition, the organization may have to open a new discussion with Vikingline in case the guests exceed 400. The strategy is for the Miss Africa event to be moved to a bigger hall in the boat if possible. For the time being, it suffices to say that it is safe to be on the list of top 400 guests to be guaranteed a seat in the main arena.
Last year, there are fans who booked for the cruise although they never booked for the Miss Africa event but they managed to get entry into the Miss Africa arena. This time, this will not be possible and anybody without a wrist-band will not be able to enter the arena.
The Miss Africa Crown contest is a new idea whose success depends on support from Africans and friends of Africa. The contesting girls have huge potentials in the Fashion and Make-Up industries but the problem has been that these girls have had no foundation from where they can start their careers. The well-established Fashion-Make-Up companies in Scandinavia prefer the services of accomplished models who have gained experience in the field. The idea behind Miss Africa Crown contest is to place the contesting girls at a better position to enable them enter into the competition with some level of background in the industry.
The organizers hope that the event will be better organized compared to last year when the organizers were themselves gathering experience. There seem to be a huge interest in the event which is being seen within the “African circles” in Sweden as a step in the right direction.
Organizing the event entails huge resources and great sacrifices but this is what it takes for any serious venture where players are seeking a high level of professionalism and competence. The Ritz Society hopes for increased public support as Miss Africa Crown International also takes root. The organization has received a lot of encouragement from various institutions and individuals active in the industry. Most importantly, Ritz Society has received offers aimed at promoting the event and helping line it with International standards. An interesting proposal from a leading player is that next year, the Pre-selection could be held in London with the finals in the boat in Scandinavia.
The Ritz Society appeals to “African oriented” enthusiasts to book their tickets on time so as to avoid last minute disappointments. It will be a historic event that will be packed with action. Sound of Blackness will be present to blast disco music all night. If you do not yet have a ticket, time may be running out. For booking details and offers on Cabins, see HERE.
