"The Star", a Kenyan newspaper, has interviewed Barbara, a Kenyan resident in Stockholm and published a story riddled with factual errors. Notably, Marcopoulos, a police officer, is idenitfied as the suspect's ex-husband while the paper claims that the boys may have been tortured, information that is not available anywhere.
A 30-year-old Kenyan woman had been arrested in Stockholm, Sweden after the naked bodies of her two children were found in a river near their home. Grace Nyambura Kamau, was arrested and locked up Kunghomen police station after the bodies of her two sons— eight-year-old Melvin Patrick Kamau and four-year-old Elias Welman— were found after a search by police.
The clothes the boys were wearing were found neatly folded and piled on a bridge over the river. The bodies had marks and other wounds indicating they had been severely beaten or tortured before they drowned. Swedish police mounted a search after authorities raised concerns about the whereabouts of the children who had not been seen in school for more than a month. Efforts by the authorities to contact Nyambura to find out what was going on were fruitless.
The authorities contacted Nyambura’s lover, identified only as Marcopoulos, who led the police to Nyambura’s home after she failed to respond to his calls. When they got to her home, Nyambura allegedly gave the police contradictory stories when asked where her children were. “The police found her relaxing at home. She told them the children had gone on a train ride, then changed the story to say they were with friends and then changed that story to say something else. That is when they decided to mount the search, ” a close friend identified as Barbara, who said Nyambura had cut herself off from friends for more than a month, said.
Reports in the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet said the search was mounted early Sunday when the boys clothes were found. The bodies were however located on Monday afternoon. Marcopoulos,who separated from Nyambura nearly five years ago, is also being interviewed by the police.
In Nairobi, Nyambura’s mother, Josephine Wachuka Kamau,expressed shock at news of the death of her grandchildren which was relayed to her by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She described Nyambura, her first born daughter in a family of three, as a a “quiet, fun loving, gentle and loving mother”, adding that her daughter could not have killed the children.
She said Nyambura moved to Sweden in 2004 when she got a job working at a hotel. Nyambura has been jobless since 2009 and has been living off the benefits she receives from the state following the birth of her son, Elias. She separated from her lover when she was six months pregnant. In April, Nyambura came to Kenya and returned to Sweden with her eldest son, Melvin.
Yesterday, Wachuka expressed hope that the government will assist the family in transporting the bodies of the two children back to Kenya for burial. “It is our wish that they are buried here,” she said. “We are asking the Government and well wishers to help in meeting the expenses because we are not financially stable” said Wachuka.

Sofia Njoroge tried to help the children but by sounding the alarm but was ignored

The electricity was turned off and the stack of pizza boxes grew when the mother lost her job.
But according to her friend Sophia Njoroge, the local social services denied the woman and children welfare support:
- I tried to help them, I was like a grandmother to the boys. But the social just wondered why I called.
Sophia Njoroge shall never again see the eight-year-old boy and his four-year younger brother. Those that she used to babysit, and whose clothes and toys she still has left in her apartment. Also, a cuddly toy, a pair of sunglasses model and other kids clothes.
- I still have not understood that the kids shall never come here, said Sophia when Aftonbladet visited her home in western Stockholm.
“She Did all She Could for Them”
Sophia and her 19-year-old son Jerry were the closest family to the woman family in Sigtuna, and they are now trying to come to terms with what has happened too the well-behaved, responsible mother of two suspected of murdering her sons who were her everything.
- Everything she did, she did for them.
In early summer, the murder suspect 30-year-old woman suddenly travelled home to Kenya to support her sister.
- She called me and told me I had to take care of the children when she was gone. I was like a mother to her and as a grandmother to the boys, says Sophia.
The just over a month long trip led to the woman to lose her job because she left without being granted leave.
Did Not Open The Door
- In early August, she turned to the welfare office to get income support. But according to Sophia, the application was rejected.
- I called the welfare office to find out what happened, but they just asked who I was and why I called.
The mother of two told Sophia that she would start a new cleaning job, but it never happened.
- Her situation worsened and she completely broke down and gave up. She also stopped answering the phone and when worried friends went home and knocked on her door, it was not opened.
When the summer vacation was over, the woman shut herself inside and never left the apartment with her children – who really should have started school and kindergarten.
When Sophia came home to the family in Sigtuna on Monday – hours before the children were found dead in the water and the woman arrested – she was shocked. The apartment was a mess and the electricity had been turned off.
- There would not even be two dirty mugs on the sink area before, not a stain, but there was instead dirt everywhere.
Forensic Examination
The apartment was full of dishes, trash, and unopened mail. Sophia counted forty pizza boxes.
- She came on Thursday evening and bought six pizzas. We thought it was a bit strange but she said that they were renovating in her apartment and she could not cook, said an employee at the pizzeria.
Yesterday police carried out a forensic examination of the apartment. The mother remains highly suspected of murder, but denies the crime.
The forensic examination will now determine how the boys died. Investigators have received several indications that the children were victims of crime and have a theory about how it happened.
- But we must wait for the autopsy. It may be possible that this was an accident, says Stefan Marcopolous, the police spokesman for the north of Stockholm station.
Sophia tells how she, on Monday searched all over Sigtuna for the boys.
- I thought the kids might have escaped at night and gone to school the next day, she says. But they were nowhere.
“Something Has Happened”
Sophia has long fought for the woman. She tried to help her find a new job, be in touch with the social services – all for the boys’ sake.
- Why did she not come to me as say that had a hard time? I would have been able to help her, I did always.
- Something has happened to her. I think she felt she could no longer take care of their children, and she shut herself in with them in the apartment, as in a cocoon.
Sophia is disappointed that the society failed to move in and help the mother and her sons.
- This must never happen to another family. That’s why I have to narrate about this situation.
Sigtuna’s Social Services boss Jan Hellström, would not comment on the mother’s case.

It’s so sweet that it could be called a work of art. Fate sometimes puts up things to laugh about, so you crack on the cheeks. Here’s one. Readers are by now familiar with my strict policy on linking with racist Internet sites, therefore nothing like that will ever occur. The data is still self-explanatory. The following news has been leaked by a racist homepage – not me – but the raw data can be confirmed independently.
Most people know the site Politically Incorrect (PI) – a super-racist site with clear sympathies for a certain racist party. Editors have insisted they are only a news service with no political ties. Now, what everybody already knew has been proven in details. What I am confused about is that it was so simple and yet nobody had done it before. The data are presented clearly. PI has a bank where they are begging for alms because “everything is voluntary.” This is shown on the homepage clearly.
This number can be searched on to find the responsible receivers, and the search can be done easily online at BGC AB (BGC) – a company that works with payment services. If you search for bank giro number 759-1829, which is PI’s bank number so you get a very interesting information.
Yep! The Sweden Democrats (SD) Member of Parliament and the über-racist Kent Ekeroth is the principal beneficiary to whom the bangirot is registered. This is neither a coincidence nor less detail, considering the homepage’s form and work, so it can not be anything other than that it is the PI’s owner / principal person who also manages the fund. They have thought about every detail except one little thing – the Internet. It will be very interesting to see if the media follow up on this track and give Kent and SD what they deserve.
Update 110626: whoopsie daisy! This did not create any reaction! And yet the public documents which the data came from are presented. Well, obviously, PI has tried to fight off the current Kent’s involvement with regard to his involvement in anti-islamist funding. Obviously this is not something that the Menendez-brothers Ekeroth denied, but on the contrary, they have proudly agreed with his creation. There are still things that need to be pointed out, and it is thanks to my friend The Black, who’s pointed them out. The Anti-Islamization funding began in 2009 and the earliest records of their begging for public funding from symparthizers is from a post published on the 28th October 2009:

Here is the official bank number has been changed to the same as PI. It is thus clear that these two have been cooperating and raised money for their own purposes. And who was the original AIF giro number registered to, do you think?
That’s right, the other half of the Menendez brothers Ekeroth – Ted. We’re talking two different bank numbers with each of their names. This proves once again not just the falsehoods that PI and politicians poured out on the cooperation between them but that there has been much heavier than I thought. Peace out! Mr. Charles Otieno Owiyo, the Secretary of Maison Africa, has contacted KSB to say that the Nyadundo show earlier advertized has been cancelled. He noted that the organization had rushed with the advertisement because of a misconception that a deal had been reached with Nyadundo who is currently in Germany as part of his European tour.
According to a statement mailed to KSB by Mr. Owiyo, Nyadundo was expected in Stockholm this week to sign a show contract scheduled for December and it is during this trip that Maison Africa was seeking to get him appear as a guest at the planned Märsta bash. It was against this background that a promotion flyer was designed and sent to KSB for publication.
Mr. Owiyo told KSB on telephone that Maison Africa has just discovered that the flyer tended to confirm the show while the reality on the ground was that negotiation had not been completed. “We had underrated the possible impact of the flyer while hoping that the deal would be sealed”, Mr. Owiyo said as he took responsibility.
“Our organization apologizes to all Kenyans and fans alike for the hurried dispatch of information about the show”, Mr. Owiyo told KSB. He added that the withdrawal of the concert does not mean that Nyadundo will not be in Stockholm because his organization could still reach a deal with the Ohangla artist. “We will update the public in case of any breakthrough in the negotiations”, he said.
Mr. Owiyo said that the Saturday September 24th “Summer Bash” planned by Maison Africa will however continue as had been planned. He said that Kenyan Rap artist “Chief Chef” has arrived in the country from Kenya and that he will be playing at the show along with “Africa Unitez” which will also perform live during the Party.
A special attraction which promises to set the Party on fire is Lady DJ IK, the first Lady DJ in Kenya-Stockholm who has been creating a lot of sensation within the growing Kenya-Stockholm’s DJ industry. She is keeping extremely quiet about her dance-floor strategy and for now, it would be much safer to wait and see.
Another giant entertainer who will be present inna de house to get revelers shaking to the beats is Maestro DJ Jimmy aka Nyakwar Oyundi who has made a name for himself especially within the African boogie community in Stockholm. Jimmy’s known prowess is to be found in lifting guests from their seats on to the dance floor through a careful selection of numbers based on guest preferences, an art which the DJ has perfected over time. Mr. Otieno said that Maison Africa has prepared well to make the Party memorable and hoped that a last minute deal will be struck with Nyadundo to bring the ohangla magic to Märsta for the first time ever.
