Referendum: Why ODM-Scandinavia Says “Yes”
Party Statement from Stockholm Headquarters
With the presentation of the Draft Constitution to Kenya’s Attorney General Mr. Amos Wako after the document sailed through Parliament, and with Wako’s assertion that the publication of the Draft was “unstoppable” the stage has been set for a duel between the “Yes” advocates and their “No” proponents.
From the point of view of ODM-Scandinavia, Kenya media reports, observation from the ground, opinion polls and other indices, it is unlikely that the Draft will fail to pass at the Referendum and for ODM-Scandinavia, the question that could be posed is the magnitude with which the “Yes” campaigners will carry the day. As the Party branch begins a campaign for a “Yes” vote, it is important to embark on a continuous challenge of the key reasons being advanced by the “No” side to lure gullible Kenyans to the “No” camp.
The “No” camp is being led by the Church and one pathological liar called William Ruto who was recently demoted from his Cabinet position of Minister of Agriculture to head the lukewarm Ministry of Higher Education. Although Ruto is not officially in cahoots with the mischievous Church leaders out to mislead the Nation, the biggest lie being propagated by the Church is that the Draft legalizes abortion.
According to the Draft, the right to life is clearly outlined in Section 26 which also affirms that life begins at conception. The Draft clearly states that life can only be terminated if, in the “opinion of a trained health professional, there is need for emergency treatment, or the life or health of the mother is in danger, or if permitted by any other written law.” It is this phrase which the Church is peddling to argue that the Draft “legalizes abortion”.
Surely, what do you do with a poor underage teenage girl who has been raped and impregnated by a marauding sex-maniac then it turns out that the victim cannot carry the pregnancy to term because of complications? What the Church is saying is that under the circumstances, such a victim should be left to her own devices to risk losing her life in a situation where life could be saved through termination of pregnancy. The view of ODM-Scandinavia is that this position is not only unacceptable but also illogical and inhuman to say the least.
Another bone of contention by the Church is that the Draft should be opposed because it legalizes Kadhi courts. What the Church is not telling the public is that submission to Kadhi courts by practicing Muslims to help sort out domestic cases is voluntary and absolutely optional. The argument that Kadhi courts will help transform Kenya into an Islamic State governed by Sharia Law is the product of high hysteria and should therefore be ignored.
The Church leaders could have had a case if they had presented their own Christian version of “Kdhi courts” to be included in the Draft then met opposition. The reality is that the Church has no such jurisdiction and its opposition to Kadhi courts is driven by imaginary fears of a “Muslim take-over” of Kenya, an eventuality that is practically impossible unless every Kenyan voluntarily converts into Islam then proceeds to another Referendum to vote for Sharia Law.
Further, the Constitution has 21 Chapters with 316 sections. The Church and other disgruntled “No” proponents are taking issue with just two sections to argue that the Constitution needs to be rejected. According to known constitutional making processes around the world, it is virtually impossible to write a perfect Constitution that satisfies everyone and every time a Constitution has to be written, compromises have to be made. In practical terms, a Constitution should be accepted by subjects if they agree with 80-90 percent of the content.
Undoubtedly, the situation could have been different if the Constitution was ambiguous or silent on vital issues touching on Human Freedoms, Human Rights, Media Rights and Freedoms, the structure of government, the Rights of citizens etc. According to the Draft, every vital ingredient necessary in a Constitution is contained therein.
As a Party branch, we wish to state that ODM-Scandinavia does not agree with everything in the Constitution. However, it would be retrogressive for the Party branch to pick on one or two issues as the basis of opposition to the draft unless the issues are “all important” and affecting majority of Kenyan citizens in an adverse way. We believe that the position of the Church on the Draft is adventurist if not meant to attract attention following a steady decline in Church popularity especially among the youth which form majority voters in Kenya.
The Church is known to have taken partisan positions especially during political crisis in Kenya and events during the December 2007 election is a case in point. Secondly, the Church in Kenya has systematically failed to speak up against the unspeakable rot in the Church which has seen repeated cases of sex scandals among top Clergy.
In extreme cases, Church leaders have featured in the Media in cases of sexual molestation of children, corruption, endless infighting and other ailments that call for urgent attention. After failing to speak loudly against these vices, the Church is not in a position to assume a higher moral ground especially on the so called “abortion clauses” in the draft Constitution. ODM-Scandinavia therefore calls on Kenyans to reject the Church position and vote a resounding “Yes”.

New Photo of Wanted “Dr. Andy Njeru” Surfaces
The Doc is known for luring young chicks in Kenya with the promise of “good life” mainly in Denmark, Sweden and Holland. He then proceeds to get them down to bed, strips their pants down on the floor before embarking on what Kenyans call “Mhanyo” process.
For readers who want to increase their “vocabularitos” in Swahili bin Sheng, “Kuhanya hanya” means doing it all the time, “Kuhanyana” means doing it with each other, “Nihanye” means do me, “Mhanye” means do her while “Mhanyiko” means a situation in which mhanyo has taken place or is taking place. To put it into a more familiar context for better understanding, if Brittney Spears were to sing “If you do me, I do you…” in sheng, she would say “Ukinihanya nakuhanya…”.
Jokes aside, what Dr. Andy has been doing is that he has been hanya hanyaring young Kenyan chicks and now, he is about to experience the consequences of kuhanya hanya because although the girls accepted kuhanywa, these adventurous mhanyos have brought him problems since those who have been hanywad are coming back to haunt him after discovering through KSB that those mhanyiko were meant to fool them into partying with hard earned kwachazz.
The “lucky babes” are known to have walked away after being conned Ksh 10k and over while the unlucky ones are known to have began a new process of carrying Dr. Andy’s photocopies in their tummies for nine months before downloading them to begin new lives as single mothers with bastards, studies ruined and careers shuttered into smithereens. While cash can be re-made, the kind of photocopies he left his victims with are not the type you can tear into pieces and dump in the waste bin but the breed you take care of for at least 18 years and this is what brings Dr Andy’s viciousness to prominence.
No one really knows the total amount of quid this dude has siphoned from unsuspecting chicks but according to confessions, the amount could be monumental. In the same token, no one knows the number of chicks who have not yet understood what may have happened to them because they are out of touch with KSB, the Citizen’s media that broke the storo.
Every chick who got ensnared before exposing the precious goods for consumption had the same story line – that the financial conning game was based on the guy making a storo that the chick ought to pay part of the air ticket to the land of milk and honey where the subject would live with him in a bungalow happily thereafter. Once the cash was delivered, Dr. Andy is known to have ended the game there to go hunting for another prey as he enjoyed the loot.
When a chick contacted KSB with the storo for the first time, it sounded like a joke but as Dr. Andy got more and more “bizziness contacts” whose goods he consumed with gusto, the truth of the matter also began to look for space and this is where KSB came in. Now, the chickens have come home to roost and Dr, Andy may be a man suffering a lot of constipation at the moment because Kenya police appears to have caught up with the storo and are said to be hunting for him.
A continuous line up of chicks are surfacing to give details about their ordeals at the hands of the “Doctor”. The victims appear to have gone through a spontaneous moment of inspiration to tell their stories after they bumped into KSB and noticed that they are all part of an elaborate and well polished game that could be called “Dr Andygate scandal”.
Bitter girls whose lives have been ruined after being abandoned with bastards fathered by “Dr Andy” have all come up to speak about their pain and suffering. Chicks who have been conned of loads of hard-earned cash have now found expression and for the first time, they are noticing that they lost their cash to a professional con-artist who calculated every move before walking away with stolen money, hoping to melt into thin air never to be traced by even the most sophisticated sleuths. Will Dr. Andy be caught and brought to face justice for his crimes against young innocent girls of our beloved country Kenya? It is a wait and see situation. In the meantime, comments at KSB have been telling. The following comments have been pulled from another Dr Andy story::
1. YES! that is the unmistakable face of the bastard who left me with an illegitimate child en conned me 10k. Comment by Njery | April 23, 2010 |
2. Now that this guy has been identified and the victims are coming up, what needs to be done? This kind of evil person should not be allowed to continue messing up girls in Kenya the way he has done. He needs to face the consequences whether he is still in kenya conning others or abroad. There is law all over the world. Can someone come up with an idea of what needs to be done? where are the activists and all these people who make noise about women’s rights? Comment by Nancy | April 23, 2010 |
3. Exactly, that is the dude that cheated me to bed and conned me over150k. Comment by mary | April 23, 2010 |
4. Exactly!!!!!! this is the guy who conned me 20k to take me to Denmark! How do i get him? It is time to nail this idiot and thanks for this blog. 6. Congrats Daktari chips for ur comment. If u r not him then u must be transacting that same inhuman busines with him. All in all, we only thot we were in love. En mind u i didnt giv him the 10k for any travel document, he said he was in a police cell for operating a patient at Aghakhan en the patient had developd complication so he had to pay 250k as compensation. I asisted him as the man i lovd en cared for. How was i to know he was a conman en a womaniser? Comment by Njery | April 23, 2010
7. Dr. Chips, you missed the point. Dr. Andy needs to be brought to justice. Many women are suffering abuse at the hands the likes of him and this should stop. Comment by Benbella | April 24, 2010
8. Yes that is him! Comment by Sheila | April 26, 2010
9. hey guys this guys has been claiming lately he has charged his galfriend in court for this blogg…the case was being heard in April in kenya..how true is it…if this guy is becoming an nuisannce..justice need to be done now……..he is not going to terrorise women anymore…lets have him published in the kenya media…guys tym is now… we need to stand up for the other innocent gals he is doing this tooooo..he has lied to me enough and the pain is tooo much to bear….so tym is now ppl Comment by concern | April 28, 2010
10. Can’t some concerned Kenyans or rghts groups intervene in this case? KSB is doing what is possible to publicize the thing. It sounds really serious and should be taken up in a court of law so that justice can be done. Let unattended, another victim is waiting to fall prey at the corner. Comment by makozewe | April 28, 2010
11. Yeah indeed that is him.I saw this yesterday and made my statement to Langata CID and CID headquarters this morning. The officers were very helpful and promised to catch up with him since they have some very helpful leads. And guys you won’t believe it, they say they are tracking him desperately and will parade him for all to come and indetify him. His day are over.. If he is human then we will get him. And he has to pay my 200k and screwing me thrice. Comment by j wambui | April 28, 2010

Femi Kuti In Stockholm Again
Femi Kuti, son of Afrobeat’s greatest artist, Fela Kuti, will finally be in Stockholm again! With respect for his musical heritage intact, Femi has refined as an artist during the more than twenty years he has worked and created Afrobeat with soul-jazz nuances that is entirely his own.
Femi Kuti has always gone his own way and made his own choices, especially when he signed with Motown in the early 1990′s until his breakthrough album in 2001 “Fight To Win”, where he collaborated with rappers and hip hop artists like Mos Def , Commonwealth and Funk Master James Poyser. A whole new audience caught the eye of Afrobeat.
He is like his father with strong political commitment while the family’s own club, The Shrine, is also a place that disrupts the country’s politicians and authorities. Afrobeat based on Kuti family, is, above all, a musical resistance and struggle!
The latest album, “Day by Day”, involved Blah Keziah Jones on guitar and youngest son, Made Femis also involved in all tracks. Femi continues exploring and expanding the frontiers of Afrobeat.

Non Belivers Are The Anti-Christ – Muirani
1 JOHN: 1:18-23. “Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they belonged to us, they would have remained with us but their goings showed that none of them belonged to us.
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar? It is the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such one is the antichrist- he denies the Father and the Son. No one denies the Son has the Father, whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also!”.
John lived in the last days, and so do we. During this time, antichrists (false teachers who pretend to be Christians and who lure weak members away from Christ) will appear. Finally just before the world ends, one great antichrist will arise (Revelation 13;19:20;20:10). We do not need to fear these evil people, however. The Holy Spirit shows us their errors, so we will not be deceived. However, we must teach God’s Word clearly and carefully to the peripheral, weak members among us so they won’t fall prey to these teachers who “come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves” (Matthew 7:15).
The antichrists are not total strangers to the church; they once had been in the church, but they did not really belong to it. It is clear that their reasons for joining in the first place were wrong. Some people may call themselves Christians for less than the best reasons. Perhaps going to church is a family tradition. Maybe they like the social and business contacts they make there. Possibly, going to church is a long -standing habit, and they never stopped to ask themselves why they do it. What is your main reason for being a Christian? Unless it is a Christ-centered reason, you may not belong. You don’t have to settle for less than the best. You can become personally acquainted with Jesus Christ and become a loyal, trustworthy follower.
A person who accepts Christ as God’s son, however, accepts God the Father at the same time. Many cultists today call themselves Christians, but deny that Jesus is Divine. We must expose these heresies and oppose such teachings so that the weak believers among us do not succumb to their teachings.
Jesus is the truth (John 14:6), and the Holy Spirit guides believers to him (John16:13). People who are opposed to his truth and the Holy Spirit is not working in their lives. When we are led by the Spirit, we can stand against false teachers and antichrist. Ask the Spirit to guide you each day.
Bro. Muirani,
Ambassador of Christ.
Kenya-Stockholmers to Set Up New Church
HUMOUR
In view of the mushrooming new Churches within the Kenya-Stockholm arena, a group of Kenyans have teamed up to lay the ground work for yet a new church. The group has been praying at the “Vasa Temple” but now, they feel that it is time to set up a new front at “Little Nairobi” where many Kenyans and friends frequent.
The initiative takers of the new Church told KSB that they have been heavily influenced by the “Finger of God” Church which has been grabbing the headlines in Kenya due to their style, theatrics and general demeanor of its self-styled leaders led by Hellon and Quincy Timberlake.
According to details, the new Kenya-Stockholm church will be called “The Helikopta of Karast Assembly” and it will have its base at “Little Nairobi” where the famous Vumbi Dekula Band performs live. Recently, Vumbi released a song titled “The Lord is One” and members plan to adopt this song as the holy chorus of the new Church.
According to Pastor Makaraibisho who came up with the idea, the name of the Church has been derived from the fact that those behind it believe that we are in the last days and that when time comes for the faithful to go to heaven, true believers who accept the teachings of the Church will be picked up by helicopters sent by our Lord and piloted by holy angels working in the Republic of heaven.
Prayers will be every Fridays and Saturdays so members can choose when to pray. The new church intends to steer clear from methods used by conventional churches on grounds that certain religious practices today are outdated. For this reason, the holy communion of members will be “Vinywaji based” in line with the book of Timothy 5:23 which says: “No longer drink only water but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments”.
When challenged how vinywaji can form part of the holy communion, Pastor Makaribisho, a founding member of the Helikopta Church, told KSB that in the book of Psalm 104:14, it is clear that “God makes plants for man to cultivate thereby producing food from the earth and wine that gladdens the heart of man”. He said that tenets of the new Church allows members to consume alcohol but not in excess.
The Pastor said that the Helikopta Church is in agreement with the Finger of God Church especially on the question of alcohol consumption. He added that in the book of Ecclesiastes 9:7, God clearly instructs mankind to “eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with joyful heart, for it is now that God favours what you do”.
“Finger of God” Connections
“The problem in society today is that religion has forbidden the consumption of alcohol and this is what is converting people into alcoholics”, Pastor Makaribisho told KSB. He said that alcohol consumption needs to be explained and put into context from the point of view of the bible and that this is why the Helikopta Church needs to be set up.
“You cannot survive by consuming large quantities of alcohol and in the absence of fellow believers in the faith “to commune with during consumption”, individuals tend to isolate themselves leading to excessive consumption”, he added. This is destructive to society, he told KSB.
According to the Pastor, the Helikopta of Karast Assembly will also allow members to practice polygamy “in line with the teachings of the bible”. The Pastor told KSB that King Solomon had 600 concubines and that there is no justification for mainstream Christians to oppose polygamy when King Solomon, one of the wisest men known in history, was practicing it.
The Pastor said that the problem in many marriages could be resolved if polygamy was re-introduced and accepted. He said that polygamy is also misunderstood because of the assumption that the man decides unilaterally to marry many wives. He gave the example of African societies where the woman has to give her permission for the man to marry a new wife “to help her”.
“If the two women find that they cannot cope with the desires of the man, they can give permission for a third wife”, the Pastor said. Polygamy is fiercely opposed in the West and the new Church is likely to face charges of sexism. “You don’t start a new Church of this nature and expect to escape from criticism”, Pastor Makaribisho told KSB.
Another deviation is that the Church will not put any restrictions on the dressing code especially among women who are seldom forced not to put on certain attires on grounds that they are “immoral” and contrary to the teachings of the bible.
Asked why they must set their place of worship at “Little Nairobi”, a pub, the Pastor said that it is a question of “Freedom of Assembly”. He said that adults have a right to meet and pray anywhere as long as they are not breaking any law and as long as they agree on the venue.
“Our prospective members have all along been praying at Vasa Temple and now we are opening a new branch at Little Nairobi. I don’t see why there should be any problem”, he told KSB. He said that the new church will allow members to attend discos and smoke anything as long as they believe they are not breaking the law.
He said that unlike other conventional Churches, members of the Helikopta of Karast Assembly will be allowed to practice politics. “In fact, we encourage our members to practice politics and possibly plot to take over political power in Kenya because we are in the last days and Church and politics has to be merged to face current realities”, he said. The Pastor pointed out that politics should not be a preoccupation of politicians alone. “It should be the major concern of all members of society who want to change their lives to the better because politics controls society”, he said.
Pastor Makaribisho also revealed that the leadership of his Church is in contact with the Finger of God Church in Kenya and that once it is launched, Pastor Hellon, who heads the Finger of God, will visit Stockholm together with the former TV Queen Arunga. “I think the Helikopta of Karast Assembly and the Finger of God have a lot of things in common and it is important that we begin to link up as early as possible”, Pastor Makiribisho told KSB.
He appealed to all interested Kenyans, Swedes and others to be surfacing at Little Nairobi especially on Fridays and Saturdays to monitor the situation. “We will welcome everybody who is interested in joining the Church because that is how democracy works”, the Pastor told KSB. He promised to give further details at a later date and as the situation develops.

Kenya Christian Union to Host Apostle David Karanja in June
On behalf of the newly formed Kenya Christian Union (KCU) in Sweden and as the Secretary of the young organization, I am proud to welcome all Kenyan Christians and their friends to worship with us on the 1st of May 2010 at the New Life Church at Fridhemsplan. KCU is planning an all out Christian fellowship to pray and thank God for the good things the Lord has done for us.
Kenya Christian Union was formed after last year’s successful hosting of Apostle David Karanja of Christ Ministries Harvesters, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The need to organize as Christians arose after brothers and sisters in Christ who hosted Apostle Karanja discovered their collective potential in joining and bringing Kenyan Christians in Sweden together. The planned May 1st event will be KCU’s debut in the field of organization of Christian functions in Sweden.
Last year, just before the conclusion of Apostle Karanja’s crusade, the Coordinator of the event, Mr. Sam Muirani, asked members of the congregation if they wanted Apostle Karanja to return this year and the unanimous answer was a big “YES”. He asked if they were willing to help financially and the answer was once again another resounding “YES”.
The welcome news is that KCU and New Life have started working together on the question of Apostle Karanja’s second visit to Sweden in June this year. The two parties have therefore resolved that on the 1st of May after the regular fellowship, there will be a fund raising in aid of the planned event. On the material day, KCU will organize an evening where participants will be able to mingle as they enjoy sandwiches, hot-dogs (for children), tea, coffee, mandazi and other mouth-watering delicacies which will be served at the same premises.
The organizers of the event hereby, extends an invitation to all interested parties and their friends. Please come and pray with us and help raise funds for a noble cause. Remember that this could be the beginning of many blessings that may pour in your direction.
