ODM-Scandinavia Calls on Ruto and Ongeri to Step Aside

Mrs. Hellen Opapwo

Mrs. Hellen Opwapo

The Scandinavian branch of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM-Scandinavia) has called on Agriculture Minister, Hon William Ruto and Professor Sam Ongeri to step down as recommended by Prime Minister Raila Odinga to allow for further investigations into both the maize and Education funds scandal so that the whole truth can be known.

Speaking to KSB, the Chairlady of ODM-Scandinavia, Mrs. Hellen Opwapo said that the Party branch is fully behind the Prime Minister in his suspension of both Ruto and Ongeri and added that the Party branch does not recognize the reversal of the decision by President Mwai Kibaki.

“Ruto and Ongeri remain suspended for three months and if they are still in office, they are in office illegally”, said the Chairlady. She told KSB that the Prime Minister, Hon Raila Odinga, had acted within his powers by suspending the two Ministers whose Ministries had been implicated in corruption by the PricewaterHouse Report that has been highlighted in the Kenyan media.

“If Ministers cannot be forced to step aside after open corruption scandals facing their Ministries have been unearthed publicly and after they have themselves refused to step down, then the fight against corruption is doomed in Kenya”, she said.

Mrs. Opwapo said that by virtue of being the supervisor of government Ministries, it was within the powers of the Prime Minister, Hon Raila Odinga, to suspend the two Cabinet Ministers whom, she said, should go home and pave the way for investigation instead of wasting time calling hopeless Press conferences in Nairobi trying to defend themselves and making untenable accusations against the Prime Minister.

“By purporting to reverse the decision by the Prime Minister, the President was actually playing with fire because he is telling the Kenyan public that terms negotiated by Dr. Kofi Anan when the Coalition government was set up no longer applies”, she said.

She warned that the country will be plunged into “instant crisis” of sorts in case ODM decides to pull out of the Coalition government. “It is unfortunate that despite events following the rigging of elections by PNU in 2007, the Coalition partner appears not to have learnt any lessons”, she said.

Mrs. Opwapo also warned ODM that it should not go soft on “erratic members of the Party” who were seeking “to rock it from within” and suggested that the Party should utilize its internal machinery to discipline members who were not towing the Party line.

“ODM has a Constitution which states that members who are working against the interests of the Party ought to face disciplinary action. Why is the Party leadership not taking action in the face of shameful public displays by certain members?”, she posed.

“There is nowhere in the world where you can have a leading political Party in government without the mechanism of discipline to restore order internally”, she told KSB. The ODM-Scandinavia boss added that it is unfortunate that some ODM members were engaging in negative public confrontations with the Party leader without action being taken against them. “This is unacceptable and the Party leadership is making a big mistake by not taking action to restore order and discipline within the Party”, she said in Stockholm.

Mrs. Opwapo said that the position of ODM-Scandinavia is that Hon Ruto’s position as Minister of Agriculture is no longer tenable following the eruption of the maize scandal. “In the interest of the Party and the general public, it is urgent that Hon Ruto step aside so that the issues that have been so far raised against his Ministry can be sorted out”, she said.

Ambassador Kiplagat Should Step Aside
Turning to the issue of Ambassador Hosea Kiplagat as Chair of the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission, Mrs. Opwapo said that the position of ODM-Scandinavia is that Ambassador Kiplagat should step aside on grounds that there is credible information that shows that he is unfit to Chair the Truth and Justice Commission.

“Apart from the many accusations that have been labeled against Kiplagat, the view of ODM Scandinavia is that Kiplagat served in the system under investigation and regardless of what he had or had not done, he is incapable of delivering justice in a situation where a government he served for decades is in the dock”, Mrs. Opwapo told KSB.

The ODM-Scandinavia Chairlady dismissed those who were arguing that Kiplagat needs to stay so that victims of human rights violations could get an opportunity to tell their stories.

“All victims of violations by the Kenyatta, Moi and Kibaki governments should still be able to tell their stories with a different Chairperson in the Commission. To suggest that if Kiplagat quits, nobody will tell any story is to assume that Kiplagat is in control of testimonies of victims”, she said. “This position is not correct”, she said.

She warned that former victims of  Human Rights violations of the Moi dictatorship who were supporting Kiplagat should stop suggesting that they were being muzzled because of expressing different views in support of Kiplagat.

“Everybody should express their views about Kiplagat without developing feelings of betrayal. However, from the point of view of ODM-Scandinavia, supporters of Kiplagat who are also victims of violations of past regimes are making a big mistake by using the argument that Kiplagat should stay simply because stories ought to be told. There is no logic in this argument”, Mrs. Opwapo told KSB.

According to the Chairlady, ODM-Scandinavia is against the disbanding of the Kiplagat Commission.

“Our Party branch wishes to make it clear that we do not support the disbanding of the Commission as this would be irresponsible and unnecessary. However, Kiplagat and all those who are deemed too dirty to sit in the Commission should quit so that an acceptable team can take over and carry the process through”, she said. She said that Kiplagat should not force himself to sit in the Commission if the people of Kenya had rejected him because of his association with the former dictatorship of Daniel arap Moi.

“A person who worked with Hitler cannot be allowed to sit in a Committee that is investigating atrocities that may have been committed by Hitler. This is the dilemma facing Kiplagat”, she said.

She said that the Kenya Human Rights Commission and other reputable bodies had detailed Kiplagat’s role in some of the atrocities that are supposed to be investigated (including the assassination of Dr. Robert Ouko and the Wagalla massacre) and wondered why those who were against Kiplagat’s departure were turning a deaf ear to reality.

Planned Procession in Nairobi Over Ruto, Ongeri and Others

February 15, 2010

The Officer Commanding Station, Central Police Station,
P. O. Box 45796, NAIROBI.

Dear Sir:

LETTER OF NOTIFICATION FOR A PEACEFUL PUBLIC PROCESSION TO PETITION THE PRESIDENT

This is to notify you that we, civil society organisations, including the membership of the National Civil Society Congress, Bunge La Mwananchi, the National Community Based Organisations Council, Amnesty Youth, La Vie Foundation, Integrity Quest and Environmental Rehabilitation of Kenya (IQER), Centre for Law and Research International (CLARION) , Name and Shame Corruption Networks (NASCON) Campaign, Social Reform Centre (SOREC), Social and Public Accountability Network (SPAN), Kibera Human Rights Network, Ujamaa Center, New Vision Kenya, Elimu Yetu Coalition, Daraja, and Kenyans for Justice and Development (KEJUDE), will congregate at Uhuru Park’s Freedom Corner for a peaceful procession on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm.

Being non-violent change agents, we will march peacefully from Uhuru Park ’s Freedom Corner, along Kenyatta Avenue , to Moi Avenue , to Harambee Avenue , and terminate at the President’s Harambee House office.

The purpose of the peaceful march is to publicise our general displeasure at President Mwai Kibaki’s lax management of State affairs, especially his habit of treating with kid gloves those implicated in graft, and to petition him to change for the better. We want to see the war on corruption become a high-handed war on the corrupt. We specifically demand that, to facilitate independent investigations into the maga FPE funds, Maize, IDPs funds, and Triton Oil scams that have violated the integrity of the Republic, His Excellency President Mwai Kibaki orders independent forensic audits immediately and suspends the following individuals:

(i) Prof. Sam Ongeri, Minister for Education, for the money stolen in the Ministry of Education, and for publicly admitting that he was not impartial in the discharge of his duties.

(ii) Mr. William Ruto, Minister for Agriculture, for not just failing to stop the theft of strategic maize reserves as we expected him to do as our watchman, but for encouraging the said vice by writing letters recommending individuals to be given a share of the loot, that resulted in the starvation and deaths of many Kenyans.

(iii) Ms. Naomi Shaban, Minister for Special Programmes, for the loss of money meant for the resettlement of IDPs and for the theft of strategic maize reserves that resulted in the starvation and deaths of many Kenyans.

(iv) Mr. Kiraitu Murungi, Minister of Energy, for his complicity in the Triton Oil saga where billions of shillings were stolen from the Kenyans.

Last but not least, we also want the President to either ask Ambassador Kiplagat to resign. If he doesn’t resign, the President should establish a tribunal as required by law to dismiss Ambassador Kiplagat as the Chair of the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission, given his compromised past which disqualifies him from being a Commissioner but qualifies him for the witness or the defence box.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Yours faithfully,

Tume ya Ukweli, Haki na Maridhiano Ivunjiliwe Mbali Mara Moja

Makala ya Nguvu ya Hoja kwa KSB Jumapili Februari 14, 2010

Ndugu Mwandawiro Mghanga

Ndugu Mwandawiro Mghanga

New Posting at Kenya Embassy

Awuor (L) carrying Purity's hand bag

After the recall of Mrs. Jenipher Awuor, a former Principle Counselor at the Kenyan Embassy in Stockholm, she was replaced by Mr. Arthur Amaya Andambi who is the First Counselor at the Embassy. In rank, Her Excellency Ambassador Plenipotentiary, Mrs. Purity Wakiuru Muhindi is the top boss while Mr. Andambi is her Deputy so Andambi is a guy to watch.

If Ambassador Purity were to be sacked by Kibaki, say on Monday next week, Andambi would be the big guy to talk to on Tuesday because he is the chap who would automatically become the representative of  President Mwai Kibaki in Scandinavia pending a new posting. Although he is small in body, he is very powerful at the Embassy and when he coughs in his Office when Purity is out window shopping, staff members rush to check what he wants.

Last year, a new posting arrived at the Mission although this development was so much out of the news channels that many Kenyans hardly know about it. Following the arrival of Mr. Andambi to replace Awuor, Rose Muthoni Mugo bounced at the Embassy as the Third Secretary to join Mrs. Anne K.M Kesekwa who is also the Third Secretary. Kesekwa was posted at the Embassy in 2006 and acts as the Ambassador’s Secretary. She is therefore in a better position to show the new Mugo around and to update her about the situation in Stockholm.

If you have forgotten about Awuor who was replaced by Andambi, she is the Lady who used to carry the Ambassador’s hand-bag during their roaming about in Scandinavia and beyond. The immediate impact of Awuor’s departure was that Purity had to begin carrying her hand bag once again, just like all women do. In fact the hand bag tends to increase Purity’s feminine appeal especially when she dons her Kitenge uniform at various white forums. This is something positive – thanks to Awuor’s departure!

Some KSB agents who have been “attached” to the Embassy have reported that the new posting, Mugo, has been “updated” by other Embassy staff about Wakenya and, specifically, KSB. “You must be very careful with Wakenya here in Stockholm because you can find yourself at KSB before you even know it”, she was reportedly told. She was also warned to be “very careful” about whom she associates with and what she says especially if a Kenyan is around because anybody can be a KSB agent.

This is not good because new postings at the Embassy should not pay the price of isolation simply because the Ambassador has isolated herself from Kenyans in Stockholm. The good news is that Mugo is not married so Kenyan bachaleros have reason to smile since her arrival here has increased “opportunities”. KSB Paparazzis have not yet gotten a shot of her but they are working hard on the project. We will wait and see whether she will be captured by one of the bachaleros.

Apart from Mugo, another good news for the ladies is that Ndugu Andambi is also single (at least in Stockholm). What is known about Andambi is that he is a Christian although it is not clear whether he is saved. Recently, he was captured on camera preaching at a local Fellowship and the picture was published at KSB. If you saw the guy last week who was holding a microphone in some kinda Church background at the “Momentpix”, that was brother Andambi.

With his religious background, Andambi needs to pray for the Ambassador to “open up” to Wakenya and bring a new holy spirit at the Embassy as a first step towards change. Many Kenyans do not however understand Mr. Andambi because he has not had the opportunity to interact with Wananchi. He is known to be a close friend of Pastor “T” from Kenya but do I say?

For single ladies, don’t try anything on Daniel Kipkemoi Kotut because he is married to Mrs J. Kipkemei. The problem with Kotut is that he is very afraid. When Mr. George Kinyua, a former official at the Embassy, was relocated to Canada, he did not leave before handing over Kotut to Wakenya in Stockholm. He did all the necessary introductions, gave him all available intelligence on everybody, connected him with “good Kenyans” with whom he could begin to build a Network to work with. Kinyua then introduced him to members of the Bagarmossen Church to give him further direction. But as soon as Kinyua took his flight to Canada, Mr. Kotut just retreated. Today, you hardly see him anywhere because he has destroyed the foundation stones of contacts he was handed over by Kinyua. This is very bad.

A chit-chat with Daktari Muhindi the man
The problem began following the stealing of Raila Odinga’s Presidency. When Wakale began to slaughter Wakikuyu in the Rift Valley, Kotut panicked and began to stay away from Bagarmossen Church where he was undergoing orientation on how to deal with Kenyans. It was like he “deserted school” because he had no explanations why his people were killing the Kikuyu people who dominate Bagarmossen Church. After he fled from his people, he surfaced at Stockholm University where an agent got him studying “Nationalism” also taught along with political science. It was not immediately clear whether he was studying during working hours or whether he was on “study leave”. Many things happen at that Embassy, a good reason why staff should keep off Wakenya.

Another key figure at the Embassy is Mrs Linnet Mmogi Vitisia, Attaché in charge of Financial Affairs who was posted in 2007. She is married so nobody should try anything. The same case applies to Habiba Gabo Wako, Attaché in charge of Immigration who is also married. The major complaint KSB has received about Habiba is that she is “too rude” especially on the phone and that when you speak to her, you can sometimes wonder whether you are speaking to a Kenyan diplomat or a police interrogator. She needs to improve on her PR because with her position, it does not auger well when she puts up a behaviour that is incompatible with diplomacy.

According to Watu Wengine, Dr. Keguro Muhindi, the hubby of Plenipotentiary Purity, could have made a better Ambassador than his wify. Apart from being “very diplomatic” he is also said to be very social and out-going. Some channels have reported that if Purity did not put on the breaks, the Daktari could be coming to Vasa Temple kuji enjoy or getting to every Kenyan Party in Stockholm because he is reportedly that kind of person. He is well educated and important yes but he is also said to be a “down to earth person”, not an Ivory Tower kinda personality.

One day during a chit-chat, he told me that we (me and him) need to discuss “some issues”. In what appeared to have been a response to attacks on his wify at KSB, he said that he was encouraged that young people “were bringing up issues in the open”. When Raila was in town, the Daktari actually took his time to introduce me to a top official of the African Development Bank who was also at the function. He praised me “for the good work” at KSB and also told the guy that I am “playing a very big role” in informing Wakenya in Stockholm! I was just imagining what would happen if Purity begins to suspect that her hubby is a KSB agent! I hope to meet him soon so that we discuss “the pending issues”.

Despite the new postings at the Embassy, the change which many Kenyans desire will remain a pipe dream as long as Purity remains in Office. She has adopted an “I don’t care” attitude towards Kenyans here and this has affected her relationship with members of the community.

The only hope now remaining is that in November this year, Purity shall have completed four years at the Embassy and as such, she will qualify for official recall after November. There is still room for pressure so that she can leave early. Her departure will be a big relief to Kenyans and Embassy staff. She has basically held all staff members “hostage” because they cannot interact with Kenyans freely since they fear that Purity may instigate their transfer through First Lady Lucy Kibaki who influenced her posting at the Embassy. She needs to go kwa kusema ukweli.

Masumbuko Escaped Deportation “By a Whisker!”

Masumbuko with Annika who saved him from deportation

If you have been wondering what happened to Masumbuko, he is still swinging around in town. Either, this Kenyan bloke is one lucky guy or he is just studious. Once he planted a seed in the tummy of  a beautiful Swedish blondie, he began to experience bouts of  “starvation” as the girl’s belly also increased in size thereby complicating bedroom activity.

In whichever way he tried, the swelling belly began to stand on the way and Masumbuko soon ran out of positions from where he could consume the goods. When he could no longer cope with the situation, he began to look for a “Plan B”. The Kenyan is young, energetic and “hot blooded” so once he discovered that his bed room lifestyle was getting boring, he decided to act.

Luckily, the solution was just around the corner and Masumbuko didn’t have to look very far because his Swedish woman had an equally cute, brown haired, nice bosomed and attractive pal called Annika whom Masumbuko had become accustomed to during his outings with his wife.

Both Annika and Masumbuko’s wife had been friends since their school days and so the wife had no reason to suspect that Annika and Masumbuko could, in any way, attempt anything stupid. Besides, the wife knew that Masumbuko understood too well that possibilities of him getting his mappepe hinged delicately on her swelling belly and therefore, the Kenyan had all reasons to ensure that he behaved like a “soon-to-be daddy”, not an out of control Casanova roaming around town, sniffing out for new, white and red-lipped chicks to lick. Kumbe!

What has eluded all explanations is how Masumbuko began to kiss Annika and how the lady fell into the trap in the first place. This is because by the time the wife discovered that Annika had actually left the gates of her go-down wide open for Masumbuko to have access to the goods, the Kenyan dude had repeatedly visited all of Annika’s important body sites, ending up in her honey comb located deep inside her holy shrine.

In fact, it was a white Swedish eye witness who knew that Masumbuko was with the blondie who tipped the wife that her hubby had been kissing (very intensively) a brown haired chick at H62, the populous reggae club also known as “Mama Africa” where many inter-racial couples normally retreat to feel at home. The joint is also famous with white chicks and black bulls seeking each other on the dance floor as the staccato beats of reggae boom from the speakers.

To add salt to fresh wound, the witness said that at the Club, she personally saw Masumbuko doing several “surface to surface” dance moves with Annika, “dangerous moves” which left no doubt in the imagination of any observer that the couple was articulating privately at “flesh to flesh” levels.

They call the dance “surface to surface” because the dance style includes sessions in which the proximity where the main goods are located begin “to get in touch” by rubbing themselves rhythmically to the beats with the couple sometimes going down slowly to test one another’s capabilities. You test that if you have a tumbo kubwa aka beer-belly and you automatically lose!

In Kenya, if you find another dude doing a “surface to surface” with your girlfriend at a disco, two things can happen. Either you start a fight if you have the muscles or you call it quits with your galfy. If it’s your wify, you could as well fetch a panga aka machete or a rungu aka baseball bat to clear off the guy in a moment which members of the Kikuyu community call “Ngai Faffa!”

Once she received the news, Masumbuko’s wife did not hesitate to take action. She confronted Masumboko about the issue and the dude denied “Kenya style”, saying that he has not been to Mama Africa for a very long time. “How on earth could I have gone to Mama Africa to have fun with another woman when you are carrying my baby?”, he posed.

In response, the wife quickly summoned her friend Annika so that the three could discuss the issue. Masumbuko had a lot of hopes that Annika would be able to deal with the situation. The problem was that she had not been prepared for the shock because things happened so fast. After the confrontation with Masumbuko, the wife ensured that he did not call Annika to pump her with strategy and within an hour, Annika was at the scene to sort out the matter.

She had only been told by her female friend that there was something urgent the three needed to discuss. The tone was calm so she thought that the couple wanted her help in the event of labour pains. Kumbe! When Annika was confronted with the facts by Masumbuko’s wife, she became so overwhelmed with guilt that she began to cry, saying that she was sorry.

“Chasing after monkeys”
On the other hand, Masumbuko discovered that his time in the “denial chamber” was over because apart from crying for the terrible thing she had done to her long-term friend who was expecting a baby with her husband Masumbuko, Annika disclosed that it was Masumbuko who started the affair and convinced her that no one would ever know about it. “I told him it was wrong but he said that the situation was under control”, she said as she trembled with emotion.

Apparently, Masumbuko uttered the words when he began to get access to Annika’s lips as he made further arrangements to explore deeper into the mouth to get contact with her tongue. According to Annika’s narration, Masumbuko was moving “step by step”, the way a train moves from station to station. He made her comfortable by making her get used to being close to his chest at the dance floor then once that stage was done, activity began to accelerate slowly.

After a few days, matters advanced to “lips to lips” then slowly, it progressed to “tongue to tongue” before she eventually found herself gasping for air one night as they approached “climax city”, riding on her bed at the 6th floor apartment flat in Aspuden with the popular song “Do me.. do me… do me…if you do me I do you…” playing at low noise from the speakers. In simpler terms, she could not remember exactly how she eventually exposed the goods for consumption.

Annika’s guilt was so deep that she went even further with her revelations as Masumbuko quietly began to assess the real consequences. She disclosed that they had hanyad in her (Annika’s) flat several times and that as the days went by without being discovered, she began to behave as though the clandestine relationship was normal. She said that it is at this point that they began to become careless by kissing in public where someone may have seen them.

Once the revelation was over, Masumbuko’s wife made one terrible mistake. She disowned both Masumbuko and Annika, saying that they had betrayed her trust and that she did not want to see them again. She told Annika that she was not a friend but “a devil” because she could not understand how after many years of very close friendship and mutual trust, she could hanya with her hubby at a critical time when she was about to deliver.

For Masumbuko, he was told that he was “a monkey” who should have been in the African bushes chasing after female monkeys to hanya. She could not understand how instead of Masumbuko staying home to wash her feet during pregnancy and serving her food, he was running around with her best friend. She declared that she would divorce him immediately so that he could go back to Africa where he belonged. She made a mistake because instead of punishing Masumbuko, she gave him a new opening by disowning Annika. It was like throwing him a life jacket.

This treatment somehow worked in favour of Masumbuko. When Annika realized that Masumbuko’s stay in Sweden had been destroyed because of her, she decided to chip in and help. Since Masumbuko had been expelled by his woman, he relocated to Annika’s place where the couple began a new life.

Interestingly, the Kenyan dude soon conducted a new “ballooning act” on Annika and when word reached the Immigration department, they had no option but to let Masumbuko stay. By then, his first child had already been born while he was waiting for another one with his new find. Those were enough reasons to be allowed to stay and that is how Masumbuko escaped deportation by a whisker after he was dumped by his blondie girlfriend!

CinemAfrica’s Film Festival Begins on 24th February

Africa Film Festival official poster

Africa Film Festival official poster

CinemAfrica’s Film Festival opens in Stockholm on 24-28 February and offers the best and latest films from the African continent and Diaspora. The 2010 program contains 28 films from 12 countries. Super fresh programs are available from the festivals cinema hall, Sture, Zita, Bio Rio and Klarabiografen of Culture.

The opening film this year is Ethiopian Atletu, a film about one of the sports world’s most fascinating stories, Abebe Bikila. He became famous overnight in 1960, when he ran barefoot to take home Olympic gold in the marathon in Rome. But his history is both dramatic and tragic. At his side stood (the whole time), his Swedish coach, Onni Niskanen (in the movie played by Dag Malmberg). The festival’s opening ceremony will include the film’s two directors, Rasselas Lakews (who also plays the lead role) and Davey Frankel and Onni Niska’s nephew, Ulf Niskanen.

A top attraction is also the feature film, Moloch Tropical, a satirical tale of power mad leaders and growing popular discontent. The film is made by Raoul Peck, born in Haiti and raised in DR Congo, and can be viewed as a fresco of political leadership in his country of birth. Raoul Peck (who also made the films, Lumumba and Sometimes in April) will also be appearing at the festival.  This year, we also show a series of movies about women who have had enough, the women who make up and about women who rebel.

From Egypt, Scheherazades feminist – A thousand-and-a-night, is presented in a talk show environment . In the documentary, I Loved So Much, we are told, in a rare presentation, the story of how Moroccan women were forced to become prostitutes in the service of French soldiers in Indochina.

From South Africa, there is an invitation of famous Shirley Adams (recently nominated for Ingmar Bergman Debut Prize) in a cinematic punch while in the comedy, A Women Like No Other, from Burkina Faso, Mina takes a second husband.

We are also proud that for the first time in history, CinemAfrica will be able to show an African science fiction based on the day in which water and oxygen became hard. For futher info and detailed film updates, visit CinemAfrica’s web site.

Mfumo wa Utawala Uambatane na Mfumo wa Vyama Vingi

Mfumo wa Utawala Uambatane na Mfumo wa Vyama Vingi
Makala ya Nguvu ya Hoja kwa KSB Jumapili Februari 7, 2010

Ndugu Mwandawiro Mghanga

Ndugu Mwandawiro Mghanga

“Pregnant Paperless Chick” Has Now Delivered

Kenyan dude accepting responsibility

If you have been wondering what may have happened to the “Pregnant paperless Kenyan chick” whose storo was served to KS-Beers for Supper last year, she has delivered a bouncing baby although our spies could not get the gender of the lucky kid because information dried up very quickly when our source panicked for unknown reasons.

A few weeks after the storo hit KSB, interesting developments began to take place. A “Committee of Experts (CoE)” in Kenya-Stockholm began to sit at Vasa Temple on a daily basis to analyze numerous comments at KSB in a bid to put a name on the Kenyan dude who had allegedly been consuming the goods of the paperless chick without a “Strategic Defence Shield” that could protect him from occupational hazards associated with full access to the sumptuous goods “made in Kenya”.

The shield is made of plastic and is known to work even under very high temperatures, high friction and rocking motions known to accompany Mhanyo flights to the paradise of pleasure. When he got to the “cock-pit” with the chick, locked in the gears before reaching “a point of no return”, the guy forgot to “activate” the shield and cruised unprotected. In simpler terms, it is like riding a motor bike without a helmet.

The known risks when you are a naughty bull cruising at “high romantic altitudes” with an unprotected missile include what is called “Balooning”, a dangerous process that can ignite instant crisis if it is not aborted on time. You balloon by shooting the ball into the goal and once it’s in, you are fixed because to undo the process through abortion, you will always be at the mercy of the goal-keeper who spread out her legs and let the ball slip through. It is not the normal football where you can return the ball to the center of the field after scoring.

Unfortunately, you never know that you scored until you get a phone call from the goal-keeper with a coded message saying that “I have missed my flight this month and I am worried”. At first, the guy downplayed the matter so he told the gate-keeper to “update” him about developments. He wanted time to think about it because he got the message.

Another risk of unprotected activity is “baby responsibility” for 18 years, a burden which is known to drive guys to kronofogden aka “krono” with serious economic consequences including personal financial ruin especially if you have been producing different copies of yourself by visiting every store that opens its door for business. In practical terms, you might find your hours at Vasa reduced drastically when you have to report on duty to change diapers, push the pram to the clinic and other unspecified destinations or do the baby sitting because the mother of the thing wants to take a break at the disco with friends. In this case, the Kenyan dude understood that things were really bad when the goal keeper refused to agree to a solution that would expel the ball from her tummy because she was a Christian and she had to keep it.

However, the most dreaded risk of cruising unprotected is landing in a situation where Kenyans have to changaa so that your remains can be transported to the mother land (according to your Kenyan culture) for burial. Just like an Aeroplane can crush at high altitude if there is a serious mechanical problem, your health system can also crush if the goods you have been consuming are infected with a deadly poison called HIV known to cause AIDS (Acha Iniue Dogogo Siachi). For non Swahili speakers, that means “Let it kill me I am not leaving the young chicks”.

Once your whole machine develops “mechanical problems”, is brought to the garage to be examined by Doctors and you are told that your main equipment aka “crank shaft” may have picked up HIV when you were spinning on the “football field” of a bed you acquired at over Ksh 100.000 to increase pleasure, you would be dumb if you don’t begin to count your days on earth. The question is: why should you get into this situation if you can prevent it? We hope that the guy and the chick are healthy.

Saved By KSB Commentators
For Kenya-Stockholmers, it’s all very easy once you kick the bucket and your body is lying at Karolinksa morgue as Kenyans mobilize to raise funds so that you can make that final trip to R.I.P. They will begin to talk about you and the biggest contributors of hot gossip within the community are well known – Watu Wengine, Sam Pippo, Wakenya, Nilisikia and akina Inasemekana ya Kwamba among others.

As they swallow during fund raising, they will be saying things like: “This guy lakini, he is useless because why has he been hanyaring out of control, bedding every chick he bumps into without protection?” Others will be like: “He thought he is the Dume in town, now look. We Kenyans should not be coming to these kinds of harambees especially after people have become stupid”.

In the meantime, the Master of Ceremony, will be pumping people with sweet talk. “Mareja Reja was a good guy. He was liked by everybody because he was very generous (used to waste cash buying vinywaji at Vasa). He could welcome you (the chicks) in his house at any time. He loved being Kenyan (dating many women) and he took good care of all the friends he loved (hanyad all the women he dated without shame). He should serve as an example (through his death) because if he was not loved, so many people could not have come here today (to witness the example of carelessness). Let his death serve as a lesson to us all (hanya unprotected at your own risk) because one day, everybody will have to leave this world (he left early due to his stupidity).

The pregnant paperless chick was actually saved by commentators at KSB because once the Experts identified the bull, they sent underground Press Releases to various rumour channels and Kenya-Stockholm hot gossip Radio stations which all went on air with “Breaking news”. “Inasemekana ya kwamba the guy who ballooned the paperless chick is Man Usitaje Kamwe”, went one broadcast as other Stations added even more clues: “The guy is known to swallow only Machozi ya Simba (Konjakto)”.

By then, the paperless chick was still confused and didn’t know what to do. When the coded ID of the guy was released, real Kenyan men and women began to call him, asking him to take responsibility.  The dude was told that the storo was already at the blog and that in order not to make matters worse, he should take in the chick and save her from tribulations because he was part and parcel of creating the crisis.

According to agents, everywhere the guy went, he was told the same thing while at KSB, commentators began to work overtime, dishing all sorts of advice to the troubled chick at her hour of need. One Kenyan woman in her 50s is reported to have been calling the guy almost daily, urging him to take in the girl because she is carrying her baby. “If she decides to do something bad, you will be responsible”, he was told. With heavy “panel beating” to try and get the guy to accept reality, it was a matter of time before the guy decided to call it a day at the “Denial chamber”. He accepted responsibility for duplicating himself through the known and deep channels that passes in between the valleys where the sweet goods are kept.

As we write, the dude and the chick are a happy couple and since a “paper child” has now come to reality, the couple could as well be talking about having a “long-term relationship” Kipepeo style.

KSB takes this opportunity to congratulate the couple following the birth of their sweet child. Most importantly, we take this opportunity to congratulate the Kenyan dude for having thought about the matter especially on the question of “responsibility”.

Many thanks to KS-Beers who did their work through the “normal way” of “commentarigatan”. We published the storo in good faith and now that it has ended well, everybody should be happy. The guy deserves congratulation for a work well done.  As they say, “All is well that ends well”.

Cute Kipepeo “Has Been Taken”

Taken!

If you have been wondering what may have happened to Kipepeo, the cute Kenyan lady who is said to have ignited a scuffle among senior Kenya-Stockholm bachaleros, she has already been taken and indications are that she may never become a chips-funga, at least for now.

Because of “National interest”, KSB has been following developments and the latest is that she is nestling in the crib of a young Kenyan dude who beat all the bachelor odiangabuks in the race to take her home, seemingly “for G”.

In making her choice on what she wants, she appears to have made her calculations carefully, backed by intelligence from her reliable contacts, personal observations and experience. This is because she has chosen a young and stylish dude with “both feet on the ground”. When a KSB agent checked them out during an outing in town, “they appeared to synchronize well”, both in physique and dressing mode. Besides, their personal chemistry is said to have been mixing well, like tea and sugar.

The winning dude is known not to take chances with his dressing style by doing shopping at Myrona, the second hand shop. His clothes are known to be “labeled” with identifiable brands in the market, a quality that may have caught the attention of  the equally stylish Kipepeo.

Apart from the dressing mode, the dude is a smooth talker. According to some Kenyans, he could talk Osama bin Laden out of his hide-out in Afghanistan if he had access to CNN so you can imagine what he can do with a cutie who has caught his attention.

Some competitors who styled their approaches around “Baby I love” rhythms are said to have been dumped within the first few hours while others who were simply “flashing papers” as the major bargaining chips were put on the waiting list when the winning dude ushered Kipepeo into a BMW, took her to a movie and later dropped her home without talking about papers or trying to jazz her with “Baby I love you” talk. The biggest development that day was that a new date was fixed and that is when Kipepeo is reported to have began to pay attention to the dude on a serious note.

Another advantage was that among all the bachaleros who were chasing her, only two had cars. While the winning dude was rolling a BMW, his competitor is said to have been at a big disadvantage because he had a rickety ramshackle that kept on squeaking on the road. The winning dude is said to have advised Kipepeo via sms to be careful and not ride in “Mikebe contraptions” because of the risk of being stopped by police at night. When the mikebe guy called to “pick her up”, Kipepeo began to give excuses. “I am not feeling well”, “my hair is being done today”, “I am going home by taxi, don’t worry” and other endless explanations took over.

As the winning dude made more impacts, Kipepeo changed her cell number to dump the Odiangabuk bachaleros who were on her trail and once she updated the dude about this move, it was like she sent “talk to me boy” signals and the dude did not hesitate. He gave her a new and sophisticated phone for a present, arguing that her old phone (which was not cheap by the way) could embarrass him when they are with friends.

A series of dates that saw them through expensive dinners and swings at exotic disco joints eventually landed them in the guy’s well furnished crib after a Taxi ride. Once home, it is said that the sealing of a romantic deal was a fore-gone conclusion.

KSB is under instruction not to give a lot of detail but according to whispers, Kipepeo’s future in Sweden also appears to be guaranteed because although the “celebrity couple” is said not to have put mapepe on the table, insiders say that they are talking about a “long-term relationship”. At some stage, this could put mapepe on the works, another good reason for Kipepeo to stay.

It is understood that Kipepeo is aware that if she miscalculates, she might land into a chips funga situation and to avoid this, it looks like she has been searching for a sense of seriousness in a guy who is not just interested in “goods consumption” but who can also treat her with respect.

It seems as though she has found her match, a reality which means that losers may have to wait for the couple to enter into crisis so that they can try their luck once again. Indications are that this may be a long wait. What happens in between may become substance for hot Kenya-Stockholm gossip as the cold winter continues to bite and cell phones continue to “warm up” especially during the evening after work! If you want the latest, “press 6” on KSB’s hotline otherwise if you have something hot on the works, you can press 2.
