“I (Jesus) HAVE loved you even as the Father (God) has loved me. Live with my love. When you obey me you are living in my love, just as I obey my Father and live in his love. I have told you this so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your cup of joy will overflow! I demand that you love each other as much as I love you”.
“And here is how to measure it- the greatest love is shown when a person lays down his life for his friends; and you are my friends if you obey me. I no longer call you slaves, for a master doesn’t confide in his slaves; now you are my friends, proved by the fact that I have told you everything the Father told me”.
“You didn’t choose me! I chose you! I appointed you to go and produce lovely fruit always, so that no matter what you ask from the Father, using my name, he will give it to you. John 15: 9-16.”
Moses and Pamela would like to thank God because of his faithfulness and kindness. They do take this opportunity to thank Mr. and Mrs. Muirani, Mr. and Mrs. Njenga, Mr. Ken Munge and Ms. Irene Wakonyo, Ms. Sophia Njoroge and Ms. Catherine Maundu who worked tirelessly to organise for the baby shower which was very successful.
They do also thank all those who interceded to God to make the day a successful one. They do also thank all Kenyans and friends who really turned up in big numbers.”On behalf of our daughter, Faith Makena, we are really humbled and may God bless you all and thank you ounce again”.
We are to love each other as Jesus loved us, and he loved us enough to give his life for us. We may not have to die for someone, but there are other ways to practice sacrificial love: listening, helping, encouraging, giving. Think of someone in particular who needs this kind of love today. Give all the love you can, and then try to give a little more.
On behalf of friends of Moses and Pamela,
Bro. Muirani.
