The Dilema With the Hepatitis Crisis
There is a growing number of Kenyans who do not know what to do following the abrupt outbreak of the Hepatitis crisis. While the scandal may have been a “passing cloud”, serious enquiries at KSB by concerned personalities indicate that the so called scandal may have advanced into a serious health threat that may have put some lives in danger, wrecked others and left others in a state of deep anxiety.
The health threat emerges when suddenly, it becomes apparent that there is a good line up of Kenya-Stockholm girls who loyally spread out their legs for the Hepa dude under circumstances that may have exposed them to infection.
At least two have claimed that they simply had a one night stand but the problem is that although the girls have said that they used protection, there is still no condom when it comes to kissing. Given that Hepa can be transmitted through saliva (at least according to some medical experts), there is now no telling who has and who hasn’t picked up Hepa especially within the known or imaginary “Hepa net”.
Some paperless girls who were simply “testing out things” to see if there could be any “paper development” reportedly allowed their pants “to be peeled down to their ankles” as a way of making contact but now, they are in a quandary following the eruption of the Hepa scandal.
However, the biggest problem is that girls who are said to have engaged the alleged Hepa guy (we have no evidence that he has it) are also said to have been distributing the goods liberally as part of the “Paper hunting” strategy. Since some articulations were one night stands, the girls then proceeded to peddle the goods even further within the Kenya-Stockholm community and, according to rumour experts, only Kenyans who have been zero grazing may be out of danger. It is a typical case where your old cow you have been milking “for generations” may have saved you from serious danger.
At Vasa Temple, there is no doubt in the minds of some leading Kenya-Stockholm gossipers about the extent of the problem. According to a Kenyan currently writing his thesis on “Authenticity of the word of mouth” and who took contact with KSB, “any Kenyan dude or dudette who is unattached and who has been liberal when it comes to hanyaring should go for a Hepa test”. That is how it goes.
Initially, it was like this was just another KSB scandal that would fade away with time but in reality, it is the situation that is getting desperate with time. Another problem is that nobody can ever point a finger at a specific Kenyan and claim that he may have been responsible because there is no proof. What we have are rumours and propaganda. The only credible source which could be cited is a contact who claimed in an sms (msge on file) that he or she knows that the guy in question is the Hepa guy.
One big problem within Kenyans in Stockholm is that there are people who are very good in germinating rumours to attack or get to a perceived enemy. Since there has been no evidence presented in this case, what are the chances that the story is not true? I know of a case in which some Kenyans claimed that a fellow citizen was suffering from Aids. When the rumours reached fever pitch, the Kenyan approached KSB with a medical report signed by a Swedish doctor and which showed that the Kenyan was negative.
Does the woman know about it?
When rumours was spreading some times back that the Kenyan was positive, the thing appeared so real, just like in the current Hepa case. Given that so far, no evidence has been presented, is it OK for the entire Kenyan community to go by the script that there is a Hepa guy on the loose or should there be new and extra steps by members of the Kenya Stockholm community to dig into the truth of the matter with a view to limiting the damage or spread of this untreatable disease? The background is that in Sweden, it is a criminal offence to knowingly spread a disease like Hepa and the penalty is jail.
Look at it this way. This is a guy who is believed to be married so there is a woman in Stockholm who is also feeling the heat especially when the Hepa subject pops up. This woman (if the story is true) has friends and good contacts. When she reads in the blog that his guy is the Hepa culprit, she ought to be affected as a human being. Obviously, if the story is true, then she knows about it and if it is not, then she still remains one person who ought to be in the know.
It is impossible for your guy to be infected with Hepa and still remain without a strategy on how to handle the matter so the assumption must be that the couple may have reached their own personal deals especially on the question of hanyaring. I am raising this point because if the guy has been hanyaring at the rate that is being estimated by observers, the wifero must know about it.
If she has not yet done anything, then the guy could be hanyaring outside with her consent and if this is the case, there is no telling whether the woman is also being hanyad by some vikaria stationed somewhere. To cut a long story, we could be dealing with a case in which agreements had been made leaving the guy a free spirit in the hanya field. What may not have been part of the vision was the possibility of being caught and the story spreading in Kenya Stockholm.
There is one certain thing. Whoever leaked the story must be having nuts to crack with the guy. If you don’t have people fighting you in Kenya-Stockholm, then you are just an “ordinary person” who could pass for an odiangabuk. The more you are attacked in Kenya-Stockholm, the more you become more of a celeb. Assuming that the Hepa story is not true, then it is the enemy who has had his/her day in town. However, if the story is true, then Kenya-Stockholmers could be facing a deep crisis. As for now, there is a general uncertainty about what needs to be done to straighten up things because no one is ready or willing to take any bold action that may put the matter to rest. We are in a situation where the Hepa story could be real or it could be sheer propaganda. What we can confirm is that the information was transmitted and we have evidence.
What cannot be confirmed is whether the information which was transmitted was true or false. Who will do the confirmation, whether positive or negative? Before this can be done, talk about the Hepa guy will remain a rumour. This is the dilemma with the Hepa story.

Iam sure the hepa guy has heard the rumours and propagandas circulating.Just like the case of the kenyan claimed to have aids, the hepa guy should test himself and approach KSB with a medical report signed by a swedish doctor to prove his status and to clear the air.
For all the single women who sleep with men left, right and centre, go and get tested for sexually transmitted infections (STIs). For all the married women in solid relationships but have sex with other men for whichever reasons, go and get tested. For all the single men who are fornicators, go and get tested too. For all the married men, faithful or not, go and get tested because your women might have slept with the Hepa guy or somebody else with a worse disease and could infect you.
The above paragraph simply means that stop being ignorant if you have been committing adultery or fornicating without basic protection. Some viruses get transmitted through toilet seats or kissing, so nobody is very safe after all. Getting tested and knowing one’s STI status is important to prevent further infections. Don’t wait until Kenyans start gossipping about your weight loss which is normally linked to you know what…
I miss the voices of Pastor Beatrice, Pastor Tilah, Brothers Samson and Githuku wa Muirani in the ongoing topic.
When the “Hepa guy’s” thread was generated, KSB readers were concerned about the lack of respect among some Kenyan men over their (Kenyan) spouses. It would be highly appreciated if our Church Sisters and Brothers could give some moral direction especially by quoting what the Bible says about the respect for our bodies and the sanctity of marriage.
Kenya-Stockholm seems to be morally bankrupt from the level of teenagers to adults. The People of the Lord should add their voices to inject some soul-cleansing to strengthen the derailing members of our community. A joint column or comments can blow some ray of hope for those who are now in deep emotional crisis due to the Hepa guy. Such alleged victims (both men and women) might fear to face the reality of being tested. The people of the robe can cite the Bible to show that having sex anyhow is bad.
I hope that they will take this challenge seriously and also the voices of (Making a Difference) M.A.D. members would be important.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20: “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body”.
Its amazing the kinds of things people do abroad for the sake of “getting papers.” After all that, is it really worth it?
KSB: Some people aka watu wengine say it is.
After the rumours and a long silence, i have decided to admit that am a paperless girl who has also fallen a victim of the hepa guy.I had an affair with him,I tested myself and am positiv.Am challenging other girls who have hanyad with this guy to test themselves because i understand he has a line of them and is very popular in hanyaring business in stockhlm.Am very worried and mad because this hepa guy used me.He had promised me that he will divorce the wife and deliver mapepe to me.I believed him since i was new here.I was foolish enough and so in love that i never used protection. Now am paperless and with a deadly sickness.I was not aware that this sickness is so dangerous but after the scandal in KSB, the comments and after doing my own reserch, am left in tears knowing that its deadly and has no cure.Iam confused, and afraid to report this guy to police because am paperless and i fear i may be deported.I want to be anonymous though. Please advise!
Anonymous, am sorry for you and since there is no cure for Hepa and can only be contained, take this as a lesson and keep preaching your experience here so that the rest can be tested and the Kenyan community can revive its morality. Good luck and sad that Hepatitis might cause infertility but hope you can have a baby later in life.
@anonymous
Ati, you expected him to leave his wife for you? Then you slept with him without protection? And what do you expect the police to do about it? Truly naivety knows no bounds…
Mtu akila peremende na karatasi,si tamu!Lakini peremende za kisasa zimerogwa wenzangu.Be hanyad na hanyana bila mpira,it is deadly!!!Surely we need to wipe ignorance among us, my dear kenyans. How long shall we pretend that we do not know about deadly and infectious diseases or sex without condoms is dangerous especially with a new partners? Please, please, please let us take away ignorance in our sex lives!!!!!!!!!!
Godfrey, are you the hepa guy because you have no sympathy at all?.Stop playing Mr holy Joe.Why are women always blamed for immorality? Are the men involved not equally quilty? This hepa guy is a married man yet he continues hanyaring around.Does the wife know about all this?
Anonymous, nobody is going to sympathize with your stupidity. If you stripped to get a full shot of Hepatitis from a married man in the name of getting papers, then you deserve all the harsh words thrown at you. Shauri yako and just suffer mwenyewe because you asked for it. Now you have a chronic killer in your blood because you were stupid. His wife is aware that he prostitutes and that is why he hanyas around. You spread your bed, now lie in it. Nobody is blaming women coz men also prostitute. People are harsh to you becuase of the false expectations you had by hanyaring the Hepa man.
@anonymous: Nobody is blaming women for anything as it takes two to tango and men are also to blame. But, you know, we keep hearing these stories all the time. Ati how a woman was “cheated,” how a man promised to leave his wife for her, etc, etc. What are you doing with a married man in the first place??!! And now, you say you want to involve the police: what crime has been committed, if any?
Godfrey or fornicator,u dont know what u are talking about,Ati what was i doing wth a married man? And what was this married man doing with a single lady when he knew he has a wife and children? This is what am trying to mean that only woman are blamed whereas some of married men in stockholm are known prostitutes.I still have the feeling that ur the hepa guy trying to defend yourself.Eti what crime has been committed? U just wait, i have many people on my side who has advised me positively for a legal process.Am not afraid of police anymore.I dont need “godfreys”advises but am going to involve the police, and i will make sure that justice prevails. And you fornicator, that thinks this is funny, you just wait, your shot is on the way, maybe you will get the worst one MR. (mukingo). If u dont have any sickness now, give yourself some years.
Anonymous, you can rant and puff as much as you wish, but the bottom line is this is ur own problem. You can curse as much as you want but if u stripped for the dose of Hepatitis without thinking, then you are to blame.
@anonymous: I am not the hepa guy, what I am saying is that you should accept responsibility for your situation. Otherwise, I will use the words of a certain well known personality in Kenya to describe you as, “bure kabisa …!”
Godfrey,you said it.
