Diaspora: Kenyan Dies in the United States
We are saddened to announce the death of Robinson Awuor Onyango of All Nations SDA Church &The Arlington TX Kenyan Community. The Late Robinson Awuor lost his long battle with cancer and passed away on July 1st 2009. He expressed his will to have his body laid to rest at Nyawita, Gongo Location in Rangwe constituency (Homa-Bay District) – Kenya. His body is at D & D Johnson Funeral Home, Fort-Worth TX.

The Funeral organizing committee, All Nations SDA Church & his family invite relatives, friends, church members & well wishers to a funeral fund raiser to cater for the funeral related expenses and to enable his burial in Gongo, Kenya. The Fundraiser will be held this saturday:

Proceed about ½ mile, make a right on Roosevelt, about 2nd turn to the left arrive at All Nations SDA Church. From Fort Worth, take I-20 East, exit Bowen. Turn left and proceed as above.

My sincere condolences. Coming from Rangwe in Homa-Bay District actually that is technically a walking distance from my roots Home-stead. The book tells us that the greatest gift of the Almighty Creator to us was life.
But the wages of sin is death. I wish the committee all the best in their endeavors on transporting and resting the brethren. May he rest in eternal peace.

The late Robinson was a distant relative who visited my family many times in Nairobi when I was a kid, before he moved to the US. I was shocked to read that he has passed on, so I called home and confirmed it. He hailed from the same constituency that I share with Brayo. May God rest his soul in eternal peace.
