Bagarmossen Church Not “Closed Down”

The Bagarmossen Church, officially known as “The Outreach Ministries” has not been closed down but just relocated. According to Mr. Githuku wa Muirani, a leading member of the Ministry, they had to relocate because the venue where they had been fellowshipping belonged to the Swedish Church which wanted to use it for other purposes.

“We were given notice more than six months ago and we have been looking for a new place to fellowship”, Mr. Muirani told KSB. He said that their relocation to Kärtorp was temporary, adding that he was confident that God will guide them to get a new venue.

He said that it was important that he clarify the matter after news went out at KSB that the Ministry had been closed down. He regretted the news and assured followers that the Ministry is up and alive. He appealed to Kenyans to join the Church so that they could worship together.

Mr. Muirani also appealed to Kenyans to love one another, to live in peace and to resist temptations. He wished Kenyans a Happy and prosperous New Year.
