Kenya “Stroke Woman” Undergoes Brain Surgery

A Kenyan woman who suffered a stroke last week has been operated on in the brain in what KSB agents attached to the case have said, was an operation to remove a brain hemorrhage.

There is a total ban on hospital visits to the Kenyan lady and information release by hospital authorities who have received strict instructions that only blood relations should be allowed to see the lady. A group of four Kenyan ladies linked to the ailing woman are said to be in control of hospital visits.

A KSB agent who tried to get access met with a total blackout of information although he managed to gather that the woman has been transferred from Södersjukhus where she was initially admitted to Karolinska hospital for the operation.

At the time of the transfer, the woman was said to have been on life support. Her latest condition has not been established by KSB although information filtered through a link said that the brain operation was successful. KSB staff are trying to get into the info circles of the woman for a further update.

In the meantime, KSB is asking all Kenyans in Stockholm and abroad to pray for a quick recovery of the woman who is loved and well known by many Kenyans especially those on the social scene. We ask the Bagarmossen and other Churches to spare a moment of prayers for the woman and her family during this difficult time.

Muirani Clarifies UNHC Funds

Mr. Githuku wa Muirani, the Chairman of the Kashito Committee and Chairman of United for Humanitarian Cause (UNHC) which fundraised during the post election crisis, has said that there is nothing fishy about cash that was raised to help post election victims in Kenya.

Muirani addressing Kenyans in Stockolm

Speaking to KSB, Mr. Muirani said that the funds were sent to the Catholic Secretariat in Nairobi and that all accountability had been done and the matter closed by the Committee whose members were shown all relevant documents.

“This case is not pending but was closed long time ago”, he told KSB on telephone. He said that those still asking questions should take contact with him for further clarification, adding that the sending of funds to Kenya was a transparent operation.

Asked why the funds were never channeled through International Red Cross as had been decided, Mr. Muirani said that the matter was re-discussed by the Committee which agreed that funds would be sent directly to Nairobi.

He said that funds were channeled through the Catholic Secretariat in Nairobi (not Naivasha as had been reported by KSB) because majority of Bagarmossen Church members were non Catholics and if funds were sent to the Church there would be no charges of partiality.

Further, Mr. Muirani said the Catholic Secretariat in Nairobi had been chosen after the Naivasha option was dropped due to fears that majority of those who were affected by the post election violence in Naivasha were members of the Kikuyu ethnic group and if funds were sent to Naivasha, the move could have led to the thinking that only the Kikuyu were being helped by UNCH.

“The Catholic Secretariat in Nairobi is central and the view of the Committee was that once the funds were dispatched to the Secretariat, it would be disbursed nationally”, Mr. Muirani said.

The UNCH Chairman said that those still harping on the issue are living in the past and using non issues to create controversy for no reason. He appealed for peace and harmony among Kenyans in Stockholm, saying that the community is undergoing a difficult time which needs understanding.

He clarified that UNCH Committee has not yet been dissolved because members of the organization had not decided that the group be disbanded.

Mr. Muirani however steered clear from the Kashito issue. Asked whether it was true that cash had come from a Hotel where Kashito was working, Mr. Muirani said that he would rather not comment on the issue until a Committee meeting is called to discuss a collective response.

He admitted that the Kashito Committee has not yet been dissolved but added that when that time comes, all Committee members will be invited so that the Kashito issue can be discussed and closed once and for all.

No Information About Kenyan Lady On Suicide Attempt

It is still not yet clear whether a Kenyan woman who tried to commit suicide in Stockholm has left hospital. According to sources, the woman was rushed to the acute department after she tried to take her life although it is not clear why she tried to do so.

A Kenyan who is close to information in the woman’s network said that the situation was very serious and that if the woman was in Kenya, she could have passed away. It is believed that the high standard of health care in Sweden was a big factor in saving the woman’s life.

Information about the possible cause of suicide attempt was not immediately available to KSB although some agents were left working on the case. Initial leads pointed to matrimonial/romantic crisis, social set-backs, economic difficulties, lack of help and demonization by Kenya-Stockholmers around the woman.

The Network around the woman is very tight lipped about the circumstances but a major information breakthrough is still expected. KSB is appealing to any Kenyan or KSB fan who can feed our propaganda bank account with info to help resolve the case.

Kenyan Woman Turned Back At Arlanda

A Kenyan woman and her child were yesterday turned back at Arlanda International Airport after they arrived at check-in only to be told that her name was not on the passenger list of the flight she expected to take to Kenya.

According to information gathered by KSB, the woman had bought the ticket from a Kenyan travel agency but she could not be allowed to check in because the ticket was defective. A source told KSB that the woman was very devastated when she learnt that she could not travel to join members of her family.

Investigations have revealed that the Travel agency in question has been contacted by a Kenyan man who has been helping the woman although it is not clear when the woman may travel. Cases of Kenyans getting stuck in Kenya or being unable to travel because of defective tickets are on the rise.

Kenyan Woman Beaten Sensless By Her Ex-Husband

Rumours are in the air in Kenya-Stockholm that a Kenyan national was taken into police custody after beating his ex wife thoroughly following a disagreement. The couple, which got married, made a baby girl before the marriage hit the rocks, had been trying to patch up things for some time but it looks like things turned ugly before the guy pounced on the woman with karate kicks, blows and kung fu kinda acrobatics.

The woman raised the alarm and when police arrived at the scene, the man was allegedly taken into custody. Information about the incident is scarce although the woman-beater is a Kenyan whom one would never think could hurt a fly. On the surface, he looks humble, jolly and harmless and when he decided to “teach the woman a lesson”, Kenyans who are currently dissecting the story were taken aback.

The alleged attack is very paradoxical because the man has been preaching peace and reconciliation among Kenyans in Stockholm. Sources told KSB that the woman escaped with minor injuries and that the couple’s little daughter was taken into child care by the Swedish welfare authorities as the woman was taken in for shock therapy and medical examination.

It is understood that the couple has had a long standing dispute whose details cannot be published and it is known that some Church men from the Bagarmossen Church have been trying to help with reconciliation. After they split sometimes back, it was like it was over but then reconciliation talks led by Kofi Annan of Kenya-Stockholm worked out briefly and they re-united.

They then split again due to unknown reasons and at the time when war erupted, some Kenya-Stockholm channels which have been reporting near the war zone said that the battle took place at the man’s crib after the woman returned briefly.

KSB is currently tuned to “Channel Alby” which appears to be the most updated on the story while a KSB crew is also on the way with sniffer dogs which can detect Kenya-Stockholm rumors from a long distance.
