Hellengate: Did “MTV Girls” Exploit Bryan’s Kindness

One notable development after the publication of the “Inside Edition of the Hellengate Scandal” is that the exposition vaporized comments on the subject, probably as commentators took time out to imbibe details of the story that had began to assume the twists and turns of a comedy. However, there are still unanswered questions in the case.

Just like any other immigrant from Third World who arrives in Sweden on a tourist visa against a background

Bryan with a galaxy of Kenyan cuties in Stockholm

Just in: Bryan with a galaxy of Kenyan cuties in Stockholm. He is friendly, kind and very social. Those in the picture have nothing to do with "MTV girls" referred to in the article.

of poverty and deprivation, Hellen is not alone when it came to the lure of settling in Sweden amid the glitter and seemingly organized life-styles of the national Swedish population. It is her methods that have drawn a lot of ire from the general Kenyan and Swedish publics.

Theoretically, it is almost unlikely that Hellen could have become pregnant with Chentelle if she knew that her Nigerian boy friend was paperless while it is also almost certain that her “know it all” friends could have allowed her to proceed to be ballooned by a “U-boat” who was living “under water” (paperless) because such a pregnancy could not only have been useless in terms of paper-making but also a sheer waste of time and energy unless it was based on a special kind of love.

For this reason, it is probable that Hellen acquired a secret pregnancy to trap the Nigerian boyfriend thinking that he could make paper and this should explain the shock and panic that caught up with her when she noticed that the Naija was also paperless.

Chentelle is three months old and therefore, a quick mathematical calculus indicates that she may have been born in August or thereabout. This should bring her conception to November last year meaning that Hellen must have come into “romantic contact” with Bryan after November last year (assuming that she dumped the Naija after conception).

This go-back in time is important because during this period, Bryan was spotted “on and off” with very cute girls in circumstances that suggested a romantic link. These sightings took place publicly at Kenyan parties so there is no speculation involved. Was he pushing Hellen by then?

According to Bryan’s mother, who spoke to KSB, Hellen’s friends who were allegedly forcing Chentelle on Bryan as the father, had earlier tried to lure him to play Daddy to another unnamed baby. Nothing can be made explicit here but it is almost certain that the baby in question is linked to a model-like Kenyan girl who came to Sweden under circumstances similar to Hellen’s – on a tourist visa – and invited by her quintessential sister.

According to intelligence gathered by KSB, the arrangement then was that Bryan adopt the baby under circumstances that are not clear then help with paper work. The bitterness of Bryan’s mother with Hellen and the clientèle of friends advising her is linked to the mother’s perception that Chentelle is the second “adoption project” to have been pushed by the “MTV girls” within a short span of time, the difference being that this time around, Chentelle was packaged as a real child of Bryan before Immigration authorities.

CHENTELLE WAS ADOPTED WHEN SHE WAS IN THE STOMACH
Those keen enough must have noticed a coded push by commentators that Hellen’s friends should come out and defend her in the face of vicious attacks, a call that was greeted with even more silence as close and trusted allies dug deeper into their trenches.

The problem is that in case these friends surface to intervene on behalf of Hellen, their Kenya-Stockholm enemies will get the opportunity to elaborately begin untying their linen to be washed in public using anonymous handles. In other words, enemies are literally “patching on top of trees” with AK47s and once Hellen’s friends surface, they will be shot. The situation is dangerous to say the least.

In the event of intervention by these friends, a sure collateral damage is that the Hellengate scandal may overheat and even explode because in the scandal’s underbelly is a series of “cluster bombs” that have only been prevented from exploding because of the meek silence by the cabal of friends.

In fact, the Hellengate scandal is so delicate that by trying to mid-wife it here at KSB, it would be correct to conclude that I am walking on a tight rope and that is if I am not between a rock and a hard place.

The first alleged adoption project of Bryan did take off the ground but as it was becoming air-born, the “adoption aircraft” ran into serious mechanical problems and it crashed, killing all plans of paper-making. Investigations into the wreckage revealed that the Swedish immigration rules of adoption were very difficult to penetrate under the circumstances that had presented themselves and the Committee of friends that was dealing with it decided to dump the idea.

The Hellen Network is predictably very conservative with information but according to raw harvests by KISS agents who have been digging 24/7 to try and reach the roots of the scandal as KSB readers camped on the door-step of the blog, Bryan was allegedly offered some unspecified amount of cash in return for his role as “Daddy” in the first adoption  movie. This is not to suggest that Bryan took any money because there is no evidence whatsoever that has been adduced to this effect.

According to estimates, the first adoption project which aborted was tried in 2006 and when Hellen entered into crisis after she conceived, the idea of adoption was reviewed by the Panel of Hellen’s friends. The difference was that this time, problems which had led to mechanical failures of the first attempt were “fine tuned” to ensure that the project would succeed.

The adoption of Chentelle would begin when the baby was still in the stomach and the script of the movie would be re-written to convince Bryan that the baby was his for real. Further, some cash is alleged to have changed hands during the first adoption and since the plan never saw day-light, some Kenya-Stockholm theorists have told KSB that the second adoption was to act “as compensation” of the first which had failed while some extra cash would be pumped in if necessary. Once again, there is no evidence that Bryan was paid any money and when we dug deeper, the issue remained at the allegation/speculation level.

DID IMMIGRATION AUTHORITIES SMELL A RAT?
Despite what has been said about him, Bryan is a very intelligent young man, radical with a Pan-African ideology, nationalistic but at the same time humble and very sympathetic. People who know him say that he is in the business because he genuinely wants to help this poor mother and her daughter Chentelle whom he has claimed, is his daughter.

What the MTV girls did is that they used the “tougher” aspects of Bryan’s character to turn him against his mother who is opposed to the Project while exploiting his humble side to recruit him as part of the solution to Hellen’s paper problem. Part of the bitterness of Bryan’s mother is linked to the pain of the MTV girls turning his son against her in order to use him in their paper projects. For the MTV chicks, the fall back is that Bryan is old enough to make his own decisions.

There is no denying that Bryan has had a romantic relationship with Hellen. However, the relationship is said to have started and intensified at an alarming speed during the initial stages of Hellen’s pregnancy. According to pundits who even insinuated a “one night stand”, the terrific intensification of the Hellen-Bryan sweet love had one agenda. To enable Hellen claim that Bryan had ballooned her using the sporadic articulations as evidence that it was Bryan.

Throughout our investigations, it emerged that Hellen has been rather careless with her handling of Bryan because she has been accused of saying that she has nothing to do with Bryan. Observers who know her and who have allegedly heard her outbursts believe that her connection with Bryan is paper work and that she still loves the Nigerian even though the guy has his own problems.

The reason why Hellen’s sister is being condemned as “nasty” is because it is assumed that she and her friends knew that Bryan was not the guy but that they had embarked on a mission to make it look like it was Bryan in order to trap him. Paradoxically, Hellen’s sister is very bitter with her for some unknown reasons. She seems to believe that Hellen is irresponsible although this is another part of story.

It was important for Bryan to claim fatherhood in the case of Chentelle because if the case went to the Immigration with Bryan claiming paternity, it would be much stronger since Bryan did not just have papers. He has acquired Swedish citizenship and it was unlikely that the Swedes could deport the mother of a child whose father was Swedish.

DOES HELLEN HAVE A SOLUTION TO THE CRISIS?
The theme of the Aftonbladet article, which was crafted to seek sympathy and to put Immigration officials in an awkward situation, was that Chentelle’s father is Swedish. Bryan’s Kenyan roots was never mentioned because this could have diluted the claim of Swedish citizenship. But being a Kenyan nationalist that he is, Bryan came back to KSB to assert that he doesn’t like being referred to as “Swedish citizen”. He not only asserted his Kenyan roots but also underlined his Luo heritage which he traced to Sudan and other environs.

As Hellen’s pregnancy developed, she was advised by friends to wait until her tummy was pronounced before she could make an application. The application appears to have been dismissed in May this year, time when she had not yet delivered Chentelle.

What this means is that the immigration must have smelt a rat because it is not possible that the application could have been dismissed without proper reasons especially if the father was “Swedish”. There are several examples where mothers have been granted permission on grounds that they were expecting or had delivered babies and the case of Hellen should have been no exception.

Hellen could not have gone to Aftonbladet if the case was still under consideration and her publicity stint suggest that she appealed against an earlier negative decision and the appeal was dismissed. Despite what has already been said about Hellen, the big question is whether she has a workable solution to the crisis because at the end of the day, it is Chentelle, Bryan and Bryan’s mother who are suffering in this case. To be continued in P3.

Momentpix Approaching 100 Uploads

Momentpix was started at KSB in order to make pictures taken by KSB at public places to be made available so that their owners and others interested could download them for safe keeping. It is frustrating for KSB to be taking so many pictures without possibilities of those

Another Moment

Another Moment

whose pictures are being taken having an opportunity to view them or even have them in custody.

The Momentpix Project is now approaching 100 uploaded pictures and KSB takes this opportunity to thank everybody who has been sending in comments and recommendations.

It was interesting when a Kenyan lady told KSB that after her picture was published, she got a boyfriend who, apparently, had been swept off his feet by her urembo. It was both funny and interesting because KSB is not officially a dating blog but sometimes, some things just happen and some people gain in interesting ways. We hope they will soon throw a pre-wedding.

One point which needs to be made is that not all pictures taken at public places can appear at KSB. The reason is that any picture which appears at Momentpix is normally scrutinized to ensure that it is presentable and portrays the person or people in the picture in good light.

To protect people’s reputations or to avoid putting people in awkward situations, KSB avoids publishing pictures which portray people in a negative light.

Some examples will suffice. There are Kenyans who are married but in public, one may pose with an unlikely companion, sometimes, in a friendly embrace. Although there has been no serious problem, there is a single case when a Kenyan informed KSB that a picture he had taken in a certain posture nearly created a crisis between him and his girlfriend who became jealous.

The concern was that the Kenyan had informed the girlfriend that he wouldn’t be attending a function but later changed his mind because his situation changed abruptly. The girlfriend missed the occasion because she did not want to go and hang there alone. By the time the boyfriend called to ask if she could make it, it was late as she had decided to go for a hair-do instead and she couldn’t just make it.

When the guy’s picture was published at KSB with a Kenyan beauty, the girlfriend became jealous and an argument started. The girlfriend thought that she had been set to avoid the function by being told to attend at the last minute for the guy to hook up with another lady. The good part is that the issue was settled amicably.

Another example is the case of a guy who was photographed being taken out of a Jamhuri day Party with security guards after he took one too many. He became rowdy and he had to be walked out. Such a picture could compromise the guys reputation if published and for this reason, there is normally a selection.

Then, there are pictures that are just ugly or off-moment. An example is one taken when someone is just beginning to smile and when the shutter closes, the mouth appears as though it is not at the right place. You may have taken a picture but when it appears, you appear as though your eyes are closed although the set up is not like you ought to have closed your eyes. Such pictures are normally filtered off.

We hope that readers are enjoying the Momentpix. Now that the Moments are approaching 100, may be it is time to make a proper update of the Moment archive which has not been updated for a long time because of time factor.

An Inside Edition Of The “Hellengate Scandal”

KSB readers must have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of venomous comments on what a commentator dubbed the ”Hellengate scandal” during the inauguration ceremony of “Comments section” that had just been opened at KSB and which has remained closed to readers since the Blogsite was set up in July 2006.

What began as a strategic publicity operation in Aftonbladet Newspaper to boost Hellen’s chances of stopping her deportation to Kenya following the collapse of her application for a residence Permit in Sweden quickly snowballed into a mega scandal that later, advanced into a serious personal crisis for Hellen which has left her reputation in tatters.

As commentaries by a constellation of readers introduced KSB enthusiasts to the spectacle of Hellen’s dirty laundry being washed in public, Hellen’s close friends and sister alike found themselves on the horns of dilemma as one commentator after another descended at KSB with bits of sensitive information that pointed to a collective conspiracy that might have led to the packaging of the Hellengate scandal.

An interesting aspect of the scandal is that the circle of friends who have been mentioned several times by commentators have failed to emerge to defend Hellen or to give an alternative view that may shed more light or counter the anti-Hellen propaganda that is increasingly spreading in the net.

Because of its multi-faceted features, the story is of immense importance to members of Kenya-Stockholm and because of the huge amount of information filtering within the Kenya-Stockholm blogsphere, it is important that KSB readers get a consistent and reliable narrative that could lead to a deeper understanding of the case.

From a piecing together of the complicated jig-saw puzzle whose pieces are now scattered all over KSB comment section, Hellen arrived in Sweden in 2005 on a tourist visa following an invitation by her sister. At some point, she fell in love with a Nigerian national whom, according to Jacqueline, Bryan’s mother who called KSB, nestled with Hellen for some time.

It is during this relationship that Hellen is believed (by Bryan’s mother) to have conceived Rennah Chentelle, the three month old baby girl who is also trapped in the middle of the crisis. According to a sampling of “facts” spilled at KSB, the Nigerian dude did not have papers although a KISS agent assigned to the story reported that Hellen believed that the lad had settled in Sweden and could bail her out by helping her acquire residence status.

It is this belief that apparently led Hellen into accepting to get pregnant because once this happened, she was informed by a circle of friends that her chances of being allowed to stay could quadruple. A strategic mistake Hellen’s advisors made is that they did not verify the validity of claims by the Naia about his residence status.

HELLEN “WAS MADLY IN LOVE” WITH NIGERIAN BOYFRIEND
This was partly because they depended on information from Hellen that the guy was already sorted out. In reality, the prospective hubby had merely baited Hellen with an “illusion of a paper” as he consumed the goods. In religious terms that could be expounded in detail by the Bagarmossen church, the guy had given “a false promise” and he had a big advantage because Hellen believed him.

According to a source close to the tightly-knit Hellen’s Network, one person who warned Hellen about the lad is her sister whom, at one point, is reported to have complained that the Naia had “taken over Hellen’s mind”.

She was worried that “something needed to be done” because Hellen had fallen “madly in love” with him for reasons which could not be immediately understood. By then, Hellen was not yet PG. Another problem was that Hellen appeared to have been spending a good chunk of her income on the guy and to quote one contact, “she used to give him the whole of her salary”. It is this strange behaviour that allegedly alerted Hellen’s sister that something was amiss in the situation.

Another problem was that the guy was very unavailable to Hellen’s friends and given the reputation of ma West Africa within the EA Community, friends wanted a detailed check on the guy but he reportedly remained slippery.

The news of Hellen’s pregnancy was devastating because once the Naia got wind about developments, a crisis of sorts also exploded because the Naia did not have papers and was also in the process of fixing his stay apparently with a Swedish lassie reportedly of Finish extraction. It was like the guy was double-dealing without Hellen’s knowledge and when she got wind that the guy was paperless, she entered into crisis.

One question which still remains to be answered in the situation is how the guy could have accepted to make Hellen pregnant when he did not have papers and at a time when he was himself manufacturing his papers with another woman. This is because of the economic implications of baby making in Sweden and other legal engagements that are only possible if one parent is papered. Anyway…

In a moment of panic, Hellen allegedly sought advice from her circle of Kenyan friends because she was already PG while the prospect of papers with her would be hubby looked gloomy because the ka-guy was also in her kinda situation. A series of brainstorming sessions then began among friends and it is at this point that Man Bryan began to emerge into the picture as a possible solution to the crisis. To be continued…in P2.

Shocking Revelations About Hellen’s Deportation Case

Kenya-Stockholm world continues to wallow deep in shocking controversy and unspeakable

Hellen and daughter Chentelle

Hellen and daughter Chentelle

scandal. In an unprecedented, unrivalled and unparalleled moment of revelation, it has emerged that Renah Chentelle is not the daughter of Bryan Arwa and that the story regarding the paternity of Chentelle is steeped in unbridled deceit and open subterfuge.

Jaqueline, the mother of the 23 year-old Bryan who has claimed that he is Chentelle’s father, has called KSB to protest at the use of her son by unscrupulous women in Stockholm for purposes of sorting out their residence permits to settle in Sweden.

Sounding angry, irritated and upset, Bryan’s mother said that it is time for her to speak about the on-going case in her capacity as the mother of Bryan and as a person who should have been the grandmother of Chentelle if Bryan was the biological father of the charming 3 month old baby girl.

“This case has been going on for a long time behind my back. I am calling to say that Bryan is not the father of this child and this should be known to everybody who plans to protest in this case”, she told KSB.

She said that those who are behind the scandal are the same people who registered the child using her address without her permission while they are the same people who married off Bryan secretly without her knowledge.

“I knew that Bryan was married when I went to take my personbevis (a certificate of status issued by the Tax office)”, she told KSB. She said that Hellen and her friends are not interested in Bryan but in using him to make papers.

“I brought my son here to give him a better life. He went through his education and when he joined University, these people brought him a baby to adopt. Now, they have brought another baby and trying to use the Swedish system to ruin the life of my son”, she said.

She added that the gang which has masterminded the operation have turned Bryan against her and appealed to KSB to publish the truth about the case for the sake of transparency.

SWEDISH AUTHORITIES INFORMED ABOUT CONCERNS
In a moment of anger, she said that the father of the child is a Nigerian man whom Hellen had been cohabiting with. “I am not opposed to being a grandmother. Let there be a DNA test to prove that my son is the father of the child because what I know is that he is not and this is what Kenyans in Stockholm should understand”, she said.

In the continuing flow of fresh and shocking revelations, Bryan’s mother told KSB that although Hellen’s mother is currently in Sweden, her attempts to meet her and to talk to her about the issue as parents have failed because Hellen and friends have refused to allow for such a meeting.

I was sick on bed when I was told that Bryan was soon going to have a baby under circumstances I did not know”, she said. She added that as soon as the baby was born, the group of friends dumped Bryan who has admitted through KSB that he did not know that Hellen was seeking publicity about the case in Aftonbladet.

“Bryan has been unable to take his exams because of this case. I will not support a scandal of this nature. These people have overpowered my son and something needs to be done”, she said.

She said that Hellen and friends are arguing that Bryan is old enough to take his own decisions but that what they are forgetting is that a child is involved who is not Bryan’s.

“I want to maintain a motherly relationship with my son. Hellen is using the wrong strategy because I was ready to discuss this issue but they have abused me and they don’t even want to see me”, she said.

She attacked those advising Hellen, and vowed to call Aftonbladet Newspaper to put the record straight. She says that she has already informed the Swedish authorities about her concerns and that she will not sit by and watch her sons life ruined by malicious people.

“This is a complete set-up to impose someone’s kid on my son. I challenge Hellen to go for a DNA test and until then, she ought to stop using my son in this way”, she said. She added that it was wrong for Hellen to have rushed to the media single-handedly with such a sensitive issue and that she will have to deal with the consequences. KSB is following the story.

Strange Ways Of Diaspora Returnees

Every time some Kenyans come back from abroad, expect some comedy. Suddenly they have forgotten directions and their mother tongue and need local guides and interpreters to find their way around. And as a village teacher who is slightly literate, I have had the privilege of acting interpreter to some returnees.

“Tell Mom that my system cannot handle this kind of food.” I translated this with relish, implying that everybody should know the dangers of some local vegetables that the chap and I had been brought up on.

In my social roving, I see many returnees wearing dark sunglasses irrespective of the weather. Perhaps they are winter guys and girls, used to the glare of snow in their adopted countries.

Some of them often demand alien things in the average Kenyan cafÈ like milk shakes, pizzas, herbal tea, hot dogs and diet coke, to the bewilderment of all within earshot.

And they often ask prices in dollars or euros, if you are able to decipher their accents.

And have you noted that their gestures and body cues are frequently western to a fault? When talking to us they keep a wide personal distance that can be misconstrued as antisocial to our African sensitivities.

The men are given to a little pomp when shaking hands and hugging. The women often shake off dreads or imaginary hair from their foreheads, just like wazungu.

Oh gawd!

Our brothers and sisters coming from abroad are always amazed by small things, like birds and insect and issue a stream of dizzying words to express their appreciation.

“Oh Gawd (God) how beautiful, splendid, cool, terrific! Absolutely!”

When these people bring their children along, they often confound their local kin with a totally foreign style of parenting.

For we have to quickly incorporate these brats’ interruption of adult conversations.

“Dad, this woman looks so black and old,” a brat may say about his grandmother.

And as often happens in such situations, everybody pretends not to have heard.

The children may take fright at the sight of cows and shenzi chicken and question the wisdom of coming this far in the jungles.

“Let’s go back home, dad!”

Some returnees may have left as shy village boys and girls on scholarships or green cards but they come back strutting, boisterous, and full of democracy and civil rights. They bring a strange rowdiness with them, commenting on every issue.

Binoculars

“This cannot happen in America, man!” They preface all their complaints this way when vehicles stall in traffic jams or local functions take too long to start.

Comically, they may demand a lawyer at every minor brush with the police.

People are often amazed at how quickly they have forgotten our old and frequently chaotic ways.

At social functions, these people are often annoying as they suggest solutions to all of Africa’s problems.

“I have seen many community based projects in Adelaide, British Columbia and Cardiff,” they will often say and outline novel development agendas. But they are nowhere to be seen when the time comes to donate money and take action.

In my social wandering, I often gather many anecdotes of how some Kenyans living abroad take incredulity to new levels by staying in five star hotels in Nairobi when they visit.

So, their rural kin adorn matatus with banana twigs and journey there to meet them, singing: “Anaweza Bwana anaweza….”

Others hire 4WD vehicles, hung binoculars and video cameras around their necks, stash mineral water bottles in their pockets and venture to their rural homes in daylight.

But they are back in urban centres for the night long before our witches and night runners come out. Yet many Kenyans living abroad venture back to the village quietly, with no trumpets blaring.

As I sign off to gather more social comedy, please cut out the concert when you return from abroad; you are not from heaven, yet. Absolutely, man!

Kenyan Lady Did Not Fake Her Brother’s Death

A Kenyan lady who held a fund raising last Saturday did not fake her brother’s death as has been alleged by some Kenyans who have called KSB. According to these Kenyans, the lady duped Kenyans that her brother died in Kenya so that she could raise funds to travel to Kenya to make ma pepe for her Kenyan boyfriend. This is not true.

According to investigations by KSB, the lady travelled to Kenya yesterday Thursday October 23rd and is scheduled to attend her brother’s burial tomorrow Saturday 25th October. Stories that the Kenyan may have duped Wakenya that her brother died are not true.

KSB has talked to Mrs. Florence Asum, a close relative of the lady, who has been horrified by stories doing the rounds that the lady may have duped Kenyans. Florence told KSB that anybody in doubt should call her for further information. The lady lost her elder brother out of illness.

It has been necessary to publish this information to clear the air in relation to the bereavement. In the past, cases where Kenyans are alleged to have taken fellow countrymen for a ride claiming that their close relatives had died have surfaced.

Florence agreed with KSB that it is necessary to put the record straight and shame all those Kenyans who are spoiling the names of their fellow countrymen even at times of grief and great shock.

Friday Magazine: Kenyan Woman “Needs Help”

Just sent in: Competitor in Manyake business in Stockholm

Sometimes, strange things happen in Kenya-Stockholm to say the least. There is a Kenyan woman who is in serious crisis but instead of the community pulling up resources to assist her, people are engaged in negative talk that has become more destructive than helpful.

The issue is very precarious and deserves a very careful and tactical approach otherwise the woman’s life will simply sink deeper into the abyss. When she arrived in Sweden in the 90s, she was young, smooth and energetic. Just like every Mwananchi who arrives here, she did manage to work out her papers in her own cleaver way and appeared to have been headed for the top. Then she made one terrible mistake. She allegedly started selling Manyake in plenty.

At that time, she was unattached and through pure charm and elegance, she was extremely marketable as a small bundle of a chick. During her many excursions at customer joints, she bumped into a “Mr. money bag” and the two soon got together in what was believed to have been a mission to do it together happily ever after. The positive side of the union is that she cooled down her twilight appointments because money was in a de house and the life style she was living was considerably high by Kenyan standards in Stocky.

Up to now, few Kenyans know what happened because out of the blue, she began behaving like a person who had split up. At first, she tried to cover up the split but with time, chapaa became scarce, she moved to them sides where Wakenya reside and stopped “shining” to Wananchi whom, unfortunately, had been reduced to odiangabuks.

By then she had one kid whose Daddy was apparently the Chairman of “Unidentified Fatherly Objects” (UFO) roaming in town. Once Mr. money bag transformed himself into her “X”, close friends she had been hanging out with began to desert her as they also started spilling her secrets strategically into the ocean of Kenya-Stockholm. It is at this point when the very friends who enticed her into the Manyake business are the same people who began to let the cat out of the bag. The problem is that they thought she was moving “too fast” and to slow her down, they needed to throw some stuff into the rumour mill.

According to some of the harvests gathered by a KISS agent, she used to talk big – about her week-ends in London, shopping in Paris and that kinda talk. She was the typical boisterous and exhibitionistic Kenyan who will go out and broadcast a holiday in Italy, a meeting with Raila’s son in Kenya during a “go back home” moment or even open a radio station to broadcast that “new-second hand car” he bought when business was thriving.

The advantage with the split up is that the lady came down to the real world while harsh conditions forced her to look for a job. There is a Kenyan who specializes in fixing Wazee jobs and this good citizen wired her up at some home where she began to earn a living. Unfortunately, working with wazee was not her “bottle of whisky”, partly because she was already spoilt with easy money. She became lazy and depressed. One day, a lady mzee called her “nigger” and that was the end of the story.

HOMELESSNESS
She was in the middle of helping her to get off the bed when the word “nigger” slipped out. She had not been prepared for this kinda situation by her workmates who never alerted her that the woman (who was apparently born in Nazi Germany) could, at times, exhibit semi-racist tendencies that needed to be neglected.

She rarely handled her but on this particular day, there was shortage of staff after influenza attacked jungus forcing two staff members to take sick leave. What happened next after the abrupt “nigger debacle” is that she left the ka lady mzee to go on a free fall on the hard floor as she rushed to the boss to announce that she was quitting work because she cannot stand racism from a customer at the work place.

In the meantime, the responsible staff members called an ambulance as they entered into shock about what our lady had done. The lady mzee had already gone into coma as our lady girl gave a lecture about racism and discrimination in Sweden. On average, she is admirably tough and routinely lectures men who crosses her path.

Our lady girl had been waiting for an opportunity that could see her through to another job – something to fire her up so that she could quit. Back in her mind, she had the illusion that she could go back to her original business which was easy and more profitable.

When she tried a come-back to manyake business, she began to experience difficulties because the market situation had changed, having been transformed by younger legs from different regions. It was like she was a Nokia 3310 when latest Erickssons had hit the market in a big way.

In short, her marketability had withered with time, besides, she had kids to take care of. The difficult circumstances forced her to get on welfare and this is when her life began to go down even further.

While her life was undergoing a terrific transformation, Kenya-Stockholmers were busy at different sitting rooms, analyzing her situation and predicting her future instead of helping her. To cut a short story shorter, the woman now needs help.

She lost her house and became homeless. The problem now is that she has kids and she is putting up with a good Samaritan who has squeezed her with the kids in a tiny room where life is impossible. She does not just need someone to rush to her with advice. According to contacts, she needs someone who can convince her that she has a serious problem which she needs to accept so that she can be helped.

The person who needs to talk to her should be good in handling such matters otherwise the whole move will back fire. According to sources, she is in a poor mental state and with the kids, something needs to be done. Those who have contacted KSB to appeal for help believe that she could be on the verge of doing something bad to herself if things do not change soon.

She needs to be consoled that life here can be tough and that she can still pick up because she is reportedly on the verge of despair. Contacts have said that for the help to be effective, her identity needs to remain confidential and not even KSB was given her identity. If you can help, KSB could put you through to a whistle blower who can begin the connection.

Brother Muirani Appeals For Kenya Prayers

I would like to welcome Mr. Okoth Osewe’s comments on whether Kenyans in Stockholm

Bother Githuku wa Muirani

Brother Githuku wa Muirani

should turn to prayers as the solution to the many problems we do undergo here in this country.

As a Christian, I do believe that prayers can move mountains and that’s why am supporting, whole heartedly, Osewe’s comments.

When Jesus Christ started his Ministry in Galilee, his disciples one time asked him to teach them how to pray. That’s how Jesus came up with the Lord’s prayer. In part of the Lord’s prayer, it says: “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”.

The world we are living in today is full of temptations and all other types of evil. God, who is our creator, also created Satan who is the father of all evil. God also gave human beings the choice of doing good (God’s work) or bad (the devil’s work).

Why do people fall into temptations and do evil things? In the book of Genesis, we are told that when God created Adam and then Eve, they were forbidden not to eat one fruit and when the serpent lured Eve into eating that fruit, the blame game started there and it has been there since then.

When God created a helper to Adam, he was very happy but when God asked Adam why he has eaten the fruit, he said it’s the woman you gave me and in turn the woman blamed the serpent (Satan).

As human beings, we are very good in judging others and we do that according to what we hear and see but not according to what we cannot hear or see. That’s why Jesus said that “he who has never sinned should throw the first stone”. Nobody did that because all of us have “skeletons” in our closets.

When Jesus was crucified, we are told that one of the thieves went to paradise with him because he did acknowledge his sins and confessed them to God, but the people of the world had and did condemned him to death.

GOD LOVES MR. OSEWE
Ambassador Purity Muhindi, like any other human being, may have committed many mistakes (am not holding brief for her), but do we keep on condemning her or pray for her?

Those of us who are Christians are taught to pray for our enemies and even do good to those who do bad things unto us. All of us have a part to play in this world and God created each and every one with a purpose and role to play in this world.

The former Ambassador, Michael Arap Sergon, really opened the Embassy to Kenyans because prior to that, Prof. Idha Salim, Sergon’s predecessor, had surrounded himself with some sycophants (the Kamothos, Aringos etc) during the times of KANU ni mama na baba.

By taking Osewe’s challenge – whether we should turn to Bagarmossen (read church) and as a member of that church (Bagarmossen Outreach Ministry), first and foremost, I should give Glory, Honour and Praise to God because of giving us a place where we can congregate and worship the Almighty God.

We are so grateful to God because during the post elections violence, we did organize an inter- denominational prayer meeting to pray for peace in our country and God really answered our prayers because sanity returned to our country.

For any healing to take place, it has to start with oneself by praying to God for forgiveness because unless one does that, it will be impossible to forgive one another. Love is the only solution to many negative situations and if one asks “who is God”, God is love because love do cover a multitude of sins.

I take this opportunity to thank God because of his kindness and mercy and all the other Kenyans who have stood with my family during the difficult times of trials and other tribulations.

Mr Osewe, you are a creation of God and you did really have a major task in God’s kingdom. God created you with a purpose. Regardless of the way we see you as a human being, God loves you and he sees you as one of his sons.

Bagarmossen Outreach Ministries do meet every Sunday at 14.30-17.00, and we do welcome everyone regardless of race and creed. We do normally have prayer meetings each and every Friday, at individual’s homes and we can go anywhere upon request.

May the Almighty God be praised and honoured all the times. May bGod bless you all and let us embark on praying for one another.

NB. All this views reflects my opinion and not that of Bagarmossen Outreach Ministry.

KSB Statement Following President Obama’s Election

The New and Black First Family

OBAMA’S YOUTUBE ACCEPTANCE SPEECH

The Kenya Stockholm Blog (KSB) takes this opportunity to congratulate President Barack Obama on the occasion of his election as the President of the United States of America.

The Election of Obama, a Kenyan-American, as President of the world’s greatest Nation is evidence that Kenyans and Africans in general are intelligent people who are capable of rising to the highest positions of leadership anywhere in the planet.

We, at KSB, believe that the election of Obama as United States President is not just a victory in the struggle against racism and discrimination against non white people around the world but also a huge psychological boost to non white people who have had to suffer the indignity of mental and psychological manipulation by agents of racism to reduce non white people to non-thinking human beings who are incapable of taking up positions of leadership especially in gigantic centers of power across the globe.

The election of Obama as President of the United States is a serious signal to the world at large that as members of the human race, we are the same and that it is important that this race unite to search for real and common solutions to problems facing the planet and the human race in particular because all human beings are born equal.

In congratulating Barack Obama on his historic election as the first Black President of the United States of America, White, Hispanic, Asian and other populations that voted for Obama forms part of the complex matrix that handed victory to this great son of Kenya. The African vote alone could not hand over victory to Obama. It is the united vote of Americans who were longing for change embodied in Obama’s message of change that made the big difference.

The election of Obama as President of the United States obviously triggers emotional feelings at different levels of the global support networks that have been following his two year campaign with bewilderment. Soon after the declaration that Obama had won the vote, some supporters were captured on video shading tears of joy as others went wild with ululations just before Obama appeared on stage to deliver his acceptance speech.

These sentimental scenes that played themselves over and over again were a collective statement that Obama had achieved a feat that was perceived only recently as impossible – the election of an African as President of the United States of America and consequently official occupant of the White House with massive political and military power at his disposal.

MAY THE MANTRA OF “YES WE CAN” SPREAD AROUND THE WORLD
At the psychological level, Obama’s election is a major boost to black and other none white people around the world who have had to live with the scourge of racism and discrimination especially in the United States and Europe where the general perception has been that there is a limit to the level Africans could rise within the established power structures and systems.

For white people who voted for Obama, a different kind of statement has been made – that not all white people are racist for how did millions of white voters endorse Obama for President of the United States if the country is populated by racists?

There is no denying that racists exist in the United States, some of whom even tried to assassinate Obama when he was on the campaign trail. However, the big point is that despite the racist tendency that surfaces in inter-racial societies from time to time (including Sweden), it is possible to fight racism through a united front comprising all races across the planet.

At KSB, we hope that Obama’s leadership at the White House will be dominated by efforts to pave the way for changes whose positive effects will reverberate across the world. The impact of Obama’s victory was not only felt in the United States. It was felt across the world and the implication here is that both political and economic decisions Obama will make as President of the United States will impact on other countries. It is for this reason that supporters across the world hope that Obama’s decisions will be guided by sound policies designed to make the world a better place to live in.

Once again, we say kudos to Barack Obama on his election as President of United States of America. Our congrants also goes to Michelle Obama who is destined to be the first African First Lady in the United States. Her support was key to Obama’s success and her role in the process cannot be quantified here at KSB.

May the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States of America inspire others after him to aim for even greater heights both in the United States and across the Globe. May the mantra of “YES WE CAN” spread across the world to inspire even greater deeds by people of good will across in the field of politics, economic, culture, science, technology and others. We boldly repeat: YES WE CAN.
