Evidence Of Election Rigging By Dictator Kibaki

evidence of rigging

In this piece of evidence, Raila got 238 votes while Kibaki got 79 in the Constituency. However, a zero was added to Kibaki’s votes to give him 790 votes thereby adding 700 votes to Kibaki illegally. This scheme of rigging happened in 48 Constituencies. Shouldn’t Kibaki step down to avoid the current bloody killings and wanton destruction of property in our country?

Kivuitu Confesses: “I Acted Under Preassure”

By Isaac Ongiri

Tuesday 1st January 2007

On Tuesday night, Mr Samuel Kivuitu made a damning admission that he announced results of the fiercely contested presidential election under pressure.

The announcement plunged the country into a post-election violence of a scale never witnessed before.

The magnitude of the Electoral Commission chairman’s admission and the further dent on the credibility of the election was captured in his answer when asked if indeed President Kibaki won the elections: “I do not know whether Kibaki won the election”.

Kivuitu continued with his stunning revelations when he said he took the presidential election winner’s certificate to State House, Nairobi, after “some people threatened to collect it while I’m the one mandated by law to do so”.

“I arrived at State House to take the certificate and I found the Chief Justice there, ready to swear-in Kibaki,” Kivuitu said.

On claims that he was under undue pressure to declare results, Kivuitu said: “Some PNU (Party of National Unity) and ODM-Kenya leaders put me under pressure by calling me frequently, asking me to announce the results immediately”.

President Kibaki ran for re-election on a Party of National Unity ticket, while Mr Kalonzo Musyoka, made his bid on an ODM-Kenya ticket. Mr Raila Odinga, who has said he was robbed of victory, ran on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket.

On Tuesday, Kivuitu said the alleged pressure to declare results came in the wake of parallel pressure from a number of ambassadors from the European Union countries and Mr Maina Kiai of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights not to announce the results until complaints, which arose, were addressed.

“I had thought of resigning, but thought against it because I don’t want people to say I’m a coward,” he said. The embattled ECK chairman made the revelations shortly after meeting with 22 ECK commissioners.

On Tuesday, Kivuitu conceded that matters that arose from the poll results were so urgent that they should be taken to court, and the ruling done with minimum delay to ease national tension.

Court settlement

“If this matter is finally taken to court, the ruling should be made urgently so that if it were decided that Raila is the President, so be it. If it is Kibaki, so be it,” he added.

Kivuitu said he made the decision, whose far-reaching implications are now being felt across the country. He said he announced the results because the commission had no legal mandate to investigate complaints raised by the opposition immediately.

Kivuitu fell short of naming the individuals from the two parties — PNU and ODM-Kenya — who coerced him to announce the disputed poll outcome, but went on to announce that the commission was consulting eminent lawyers over the next course of action “so that its actions remain within the law”.

The EU observer team has discredited the poll results and urged for an independent audit.

On his part, Kivuitu said he backed independent investigation into what may have happened, but added that this would be only if the law would provide for it.

“We are culprits as a commission. We have to leave it to an independent group to investigate what actually went wrong,” the chairman said, stunning local and international journalists, who had gathered at his Nairobi residence.

It has also emerged that some countries concerned with the poll outcome, like South Africa, had sent in their electoral officials to the country.

Kivuitu said the officials would be arriving on Wednesday “to look into the matter”.

On Tuesday, Kivuitu was in a meeting with his 22 commissioners, which his deputy, Mr Kihara Muttu, described as “a house-keeping meeting”.

In a signed statement, the 22 commissioners condemned the violence, which up to last night had claimed the lives of about 300 people.

Karamojong Guerillas “Arrive In Eldoret”

karamojong karamojong2 karamojong04

A contingent of Karamojong guerrilla fighters are reported to have arrived in Eldoret town to join the struggle against Kibaki dictatorship. They are reported to have crossed Moi’s bridge to join forces fighting in the region.

It is not yet clear how the guerrillas arrived in Eldoret but a source on the ground has told KSB that their arrival could signal the beginning of a guerrilla war-fare in Kenya to counter attacks by armed GSU forces which have been killing people.

“People are getting frustrated and beginning to understand that on a long term, the anti-Kibaki war will not be fought with bare hands when security forces are armed”, said the source. “Security forces also need to begin dying and this will not happen with bare hands”, the source said.

The guerrillas are reported to be remnants of the Shifta militia which were fighting the regime of former dictator Daniel arap Moi during the eighties. Others are believed to be hard-core members of the Karamojong who have been protecting cattle theft in the region after the government failed to provide protection.

In North Eastern province, many pastoralists have stopped protecting their livestock with spears and arrows, choosing instead, to do so with AK 47 rifles. They changed tactics after armed bandits began killing people with automatic weapons then making away with large herds of cattle. In Kenya, the GSU are killing unarmed civilians following a “shoot to kill” order by Internal security chief John Michuki before being driven away in Land Rovers.

GSU Killing Kenyans Are from Uganda

The GSU presence in Kisumu, Eldoret and Nairobi are not Kenyan GSU but UGANDAN GSU sent in by Museveni (as requested by Kibaki and Michuki). As you will see on satellite television, the men are not talking whilst beating up and shooting people. This will give them away as not being Kenyans.

Both the Kenyan military and the Police declined to the order “To shoot to kill” as commanded by Mwai Kibaki and John Michuki, the blood thirsty security chief.

This is a known fact and people are already aware of this however, I believe this fact will be highlighted at the Rally in Nairobi.

Moreover, Jack Tumwa of ECK has also owned up saying he had doubts when the results were announced and thought that something was up with Kivuitu as he looked frightened (perhaps threat of family being killed etc).

I am based in Dubai and we are receiving first hand info from a reliable insider source.

We hope that the mounting pressure will force Kibaki to step down or else a lot of people here in the UAE have vowed that even if it means that we all go to Kenya to stage Civil unrests everyday, we will until Kibaki yields.

ODM’s Million Man March To Continue On Thursday

President elect Raila Amollo Odinga has said that the planned million match rally at Uhuru Park scheduled for Thursday 3rd January will continue despite a ban on the rally by the fake government of Dictator Kibaki. Mr. Odinga confirmed that the rally will proceed at an International press conference in Nairobi, today Tuesday.

The Party had given the mandatory three day’s notice to police about the rally in accordance with the law. The ban on the rally is a violation of Freedom of Assembly enshrined in the Kenyan Constitution. ODM has appealed to supporters to attend the rally.

In the meantime, ODM has held a Press Conference in Nairobi and said that tomorrow, the Party will call another Press Conference to give a detailed account of how votes were rigged by the Kenya Electoral Commission (ECK) which was entrusted with the task of ensuring a free and faire election.

ECK Chairman Samuel Kivuitu plunged the country into chaos after rigging the vote in favour of Kibaki, announcing the fake results and rushing to State House “to declare the winner” before Kibaki was sworn in at a secret ceremony attended by Kibaki’s sycophants and members of their families.

Kampala

Swedish Nationals Warned Against Travelling To Kenya

The Swedish government has warned its citizens against travelling to Kenya following the rigging of elections by Dictator Mwai Kibaki.

According to a news broadcast on Swedish national TV, the position of the Swedish government is that the elections were rigged.

The Swedish government sent one long term observer and two short term observers to Kenya ahead of elections.

According to a Report from the Swedish Embassy in Nairobi, serious irregularities were witnessed during the counting process making the results illegitimate.

Statistics from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign affairs, say that there are about 500 Swedes in Kenya. A report published today by Aftonbladet, a Swedish newspaper, said that the latest death toll following post-election violence has risen to 251. The figure stood at 185 by yesterday evening.

KSB has learnt that ODM has refused to discuss a power sharing deal with the defeated Dictator Mwai Kibaki arguing that Kibaki lost elections and has no mandate to govern. The Party has called on Kibaki to step down while it has also called for a Million man match in Nairobi on Thursday January 3rd 2008.

British Citizens Warned Against Travelling to Kenya

SUMMARY

British High Commission officials continue to monitor the situation and travel advice will be updated at regular intervals. We advise against all but essential travel to Kisumu, Kakamega, Kericho, Eldoret and the Kisauni area of Nyali district in Mombasa, and Likoni and Tiwi areas south of Mombasa.  We also advise against all but essential travel to the city centre, Uhuru Park, Kibera, Mathare, and Eastleigh areas of Nairobi.

We recommend that you stay indoors.  If you need to travel you should exercise extreme caution and seek advice locally.

There continues to be serious unrest in parts of Kenya, particularly in urban centres, following the announcement of the presidential election results. There are reports that 124 Kenyan nationals have been killed in the disturbances.  National security forces have been deployed in some areas.  The situation is fluid and we are updating our travel advice regularly.

There is a high threat from terrorism in Kenya.  Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places frequented by expatriates and foreign travellers.  Previous attacks have included a bomb attack on an hotel which resulted in significant loss of life, and an unsuccessful attempt to bring down a civilian airliner in Mombasa.  These attacks took place in the month leading up to the last Parliamentary and Presidential elections in Kenya.

Up to 290,000 British tourists visit Kenya every year (Source: Kenya Tourist Board).  The main types of incident for which British nationals require consular assistance in Kenya are road accidents and muggings (five and eight cases respectively in 2006).
We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance before travelling.  You should check any exclusions, and that your policy covers you for all the activities you want to undertake.  See the General (Insurance) section of this advice and Travel Insurance for more details.
