Kenyans To Meet At Wananchi Pavilion – Friday

Kenyans and friends are meeting on Friday October 26th at the Wananchi Pavilion to evaluate the political situation both in Kenya and in Sweden. The meeting begins at 18.30.

Although there is no major item on the agenda, discussions of the last meeting at the Pavilion are likely to continue. The main points last time revolved around possibilities of a joint strategy of Kenyans in Sweden, political groups, organizations and other interested parties to exert pressure on major political players in Kenya on the question of dual citizenship and voting from abroad.

The Pavilion is increasingly becoming a regular meeting place for Kenyans in Stockholm. Last Friday, a Kenyan banker who was in Sweden on official engagement was one of the attendees. He briefed Kenyans about the situation in the country and said that Equity Bank was a political Bank which is likely to collapse at some stage especially if it becomes clear that President Mwai Kibaki will loose elections. He warned Kenyans whose relatives are engaged in the Bank to warn them, saying that the alarm bells had already been sounded in Kenya.

He said that in Kenya, many groups and organizations had emerged to address member’s problems and praised Kenyans for setting up the Pavilion to facilitate meetings between Kenyans in Stockholm. Also present was a Southern Sudanese national who briefed members about the situation in his country in relation to the peace agreement signed between the Sudanese government and the SPLA. He said that the agreement had collapsed and that if urgent discussions are not held between the parties, there was risk that war could break between the government and SPLA.

Tanzanian Witchdoctor Takes Kenyans In Stockholm By Storm

A Tanzanian woman has reportedly hooked a group of Kenyans in Skarpnäck with Juju. According to a KISS agent who has been investigating her activities, Kenyans are trooping to a flat where the woman lives with another Kenyan woman who has accommodated her. The woman is very secretive and is hardly seen in public because she has claimed that there are some people who want to kill her for unspecified reasons.

The woman’s areas of “magical powers” are reported to be palm-reading to tell the future and identification of Kenyans who have been bewitched with all sorts of Juju. A handful of Kenyans with social and romantic problems are said to be queuing to get her wisdom on possible solutions.

Whether it is a marriage in crisis, lack of a job, social problem, housing problem, lack of friends, isolation in Stockholm, alcoholism, drug addiction, dreams about riches, disease or whatever, it is rumoured that she has ready made answers “that could open your eye and change your whole life for ever”.Apparently, the woman is offering her services for free arguing that her agenda is not to profiteer through her talents but to help the needy.

Kenyans who have witnessed her in action say that she can tell you lots of things about your life just by showing her your palm. The story sounds cartoonish but a Kenyan who is conversant with the woman’s modus operandi said that when she takes a bath, someone has to stand by the door of the bathroom until she is done for reasons that have been kept top secret. Very little is known about the woman and investigations are continuing.
