Okoth Osewe’s Elder Brother Is Dead
Mr. Okoth Osewe, a member of the Kenyan community in Stockholm, has lost his elder brother, George Ochieng Osewe in Kenya. The late George, who has been ailing, passed away on Thursday night. His condition deteriorated during the night and he was rushed to hospital. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
There is an Open House from today Friday 3rd August at Osewe’s residence at Hjulsta for friends, well-wishers and sympathizers to console the bereaved family. A Prayer meeting will be held at the Residence tomorrow from 18.00 hrs.
The late George was 44 years old and was a father of three children. He was the first born in the Osewe family and worked as a Telecommunications Engineer in Kisumu city where he died. Mr. Okoth Osewe is the second born in a family of ten children. In 1999, Mr. Osewe lost his father, Mr. Aflred O.J Osewe after a short illness.

Three Kenyans Killed In US Are Muirani’s Relatives
A Kenyan mother and her two teenage daughters who were found murdered in their house in the United States are related to Mr. Githukun wa Muirani, a Kenyan resident in Stockholm. Mrs Jane Kurua, 47 and her daughters, Isabella Wanjiku, 19 and Annabell Kuria 16, were found dead in their house on Wednesday by friends who visited the house after they failed to answer the telephone.
Speaking to KSB, Mr. Muirani said that the whole family was in shock. He said that he was in touch with relatives and friends both in Kenya and in the United States. Mr. Muirani appealed for Kenyans in Sweden to pray for members of his family during this time of sorrow.
Police have not given any information regarding the circumstances of the murders. KSB sends deep condolences to the bereaved families.
